Disney World has been such a busy place!
There has been constant construction and change at EPCOT, news restaurants have just opened in Disney Springs, and even Disney’s Boardwalk Inn has seen a lot of changes recently. Speaking of the Boardwalk Inn, we took a tour of one of its newest rooms, so let’s take a look!
As we previously mentioned, earlier we got a look at some of the renovations happening inside BoardWalk Inn, including new hallways and new carpet throughout the hotel, and we noticed that the overall new color scheme is very BoardWalk-like with a lot of teals and whites. Now we know that has carried over to the newly renovated rooms!
Let’s start with a look from the entryway.
There are three big closet doors to the left where you’ll find your normal storage and extra pillow and blanket…
…and to the right, you have the restroom.
To the right of this space you’ll find the toilet and shower.
Here’s a look at the in-shower dispensers of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner:
Here’s a look inside the shower:
The tile work is really quite impressive.
Now, back into the entryway for our first proper look into the main space.
To our left before reaching the beds, we see the coffee station. Have a look at the artwork featuring the hotel and Mickey and Minnie picnicking in front of it:
There’s everything you need for your morning brew:
Moving from there, The beds have a teal and gold plaid headboard.
Here’s a straightforward view:
Each of the beds has its own side table. The outlets have USB outlets, as well.
There are also reading lights integrated into the headboards of the beds.
The wall has artwork of Mickey, Minnie, and Pluto on the walls with a very turn-of-the-century flair.
Between the beds, you’ll find the room phone and “Hey Disney!”
Opposite the beds, you’ll find the TV, main dresser, and pullout couch.
Take a look at the artwork above the couch:
Here’s a closeup of the other piece:
Next to the couch is a cute lamp with some Mickey heads on it.
Let’s have a closer look at the room curtain behind the lamp.
On the curtain, you can see the silhouettes of Mickey…
…Minnie,
…Donald,
…Daisy,
…Goofy,
…and Pluto.
You’ll find the only other piece of furniture in the corner right before heading out to the balcony.
Now let’s head out to the balcony.
Here’s what the balcony looks like:
And, when you look out of the balcony, there’s a view of the courtyard.
The new rooms look so modern but still manage to capture that BoardWalk vibe. We’re big fans of the refurbished look. Anyways, we’ll keep covering ALL Disney news, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
