The Magic Kingdom option of Disney Genie+ Service has sold out today, January 2, 2024, for the first time since December 20, 2023.
Magic Kingdom Genie+ Sold Out
Disney’s Hollywood Studios and subsequently the multiple parks options sold out earlier today. Genie+ cost $26 for Disney’s Hollywood Studios, $29 for Magic Kingdom, and $29 for multiple parks today. At the time of publication, Genie+ is still available for EPCOT ($21) and Disney’s Animal Kingdom ($18).
The service sold out at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for the first time on December 27 and continued to sell out for days during the peak period between Christmas and New Year’s Eve. It sold out at Disney’s Animal Kingdom for the first time on December 28 and sold out the next two days. And on December 30, the multiple parks option sold out by itself for the first time — it is usually only “sold out” after another park becomes unavailable.
Magic Kingdom is usually the first park to sell out of Genie+ but it remained available all day for the past ten days of the holiday season. This may be in part because it’s the most expensive option, being the same price as the multiple parks option. Genie+ hit a peak high of $39 for Magic Kingdom or multiple parks on December 23 and maintained it through the holidays.
