Brightline is looking to make traveling on the West Coast EASIER soon, and now they’re sharing details about the upcoming expansion!
It wasn’t too long ago that Brightline announced plans to expand to the West Coast following the success of their central Florida speed train stations running to Miami. Now it seems Brightline is sharing another significant update about WHERE we can expect their new station.
Brightline, the highspeed train company, just completed routes connecting travelers between Central and South Florida. Now, they’re giving us a peek into their plans for their West Coast expansion and exactly where this new station will be found once completed. Brightline posted on X that their next expansion phase will be located near the Las Vegas Strip, the Raiders’ Allegiant Stadium, and the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Brightline also went on to spill a further detail in the comments of their initial announcement, noting “Brightline West will use all-electric, zero-emission trains, taking 3 million cars off the road each year and reducing CO2 emissions by 400,000 tons annually!” Once this opens, the high-speed train service could be a great alternative for travelers looking for options outside of other commuting choices, like flying or driving.
This exciting news now gives us a glimpse into where you can plan to board the future Brightline train and allows us to continue to eagerly watch for updates as construction begins and Brightline West is near completion.
