2-Bedroom Signature Suites Themed to ‘Coco’ and ‘Incredibles’ Opening at Pixar Place Hotel Later in 2024
Despite holding its opening today, Pixar Place Hotel still has two new signature suites yet to debut, both themed to popular Pixar films.
Pixar Place Hotel Signature Suites Opening at a Later Date
Opening “later this year” according to Disney Parks Blog, the new two-bedroom themed signature suites will be the Coco Suite and Incredibles suite, themed to those respective films. The former will “pay tribute to Miguel and his family’s legacy through vibrant Oaxacan art,” while the latter will “have a midcentury design with a ‘spy-fy’ twist, complete with Parr family memorabilia.” Concept art or other imagery for these rooms was not shared.
“Coco” is a 2017 Pixar animated film directed by Lee Unkrich and co-directed by Adrian Molina. It stars the voices of Anthony Gonzalez as Miguel, alongside Gael Garcia Bernal, Benjamin Bratt, Alanna Ubach, Renee Victor, Ana Ofelia Murguia, and Edward James Olmos. In the film, 12-year-old Miguel is accidentally transported to the Land of the Dead, where he seeks the help of his deceased great-great-grandfather to return him to his family, who has banned music altogether.
“The Incredibles,” released in 2004, is written and directed by Brad Bird and stars the voices of Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Jason Lee, Samuel L. Jackson, and more. The film follows the Parr family of superheroes as they attempt to live a quiet life and hide their powers. A former fan of Mr. Incredible turns into a foe, and puts the safety of the entire family, and the world, in jeopardy.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World refurbished its guest rooms to have more of an “Incredibles” feel in 2021. We toured one of the theme park view rooms, which we thought was less than incredible.
Pixar Place Hotel, formerly Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, opened to guests today amid its reimagining and name change. The signature suites aren’t the only hotel offering opening later; the Small Bytes rooftop bar won’t open until March, but we got a chance to check out the full menu (with prices).
Do you hope to stay in either the Coco or Incredibles suites once they open this year? Let us know in the comments.

NEWS: A Warning Has Been Issued to Travelers Visiting the Bahamas
Disney Cruise Line offers a wide variety of adventures that take you outside the park and into a beautiful destination.
The list of destinations is long but includes places like the Caribbean, Europe, the Norwegian Fjords, Bermuda, and so many more. Each location offers something special for you and your family. A very popular vacation destination, aboard a Disney cruise ship or otherwise, is the Bahamas! It’s a trip to soak up the sun, relax the day away, and have a safe vacation.
Disney’s cruises are some of the safest around! Safety is paramount to everything Disney does, inside the parks and anywhere else they invite you to explore. But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be diligent with your own safety. We encourage you to follow the rules and pay attention to others around you.
According to The Hill, The State Department has issued a warning to travelers heading to the Bahamas over the high crime rates. The U.S. Embassy in the Bahamas issued a security alert on Wednesday after an increase in violent crime began occurring in the Nassau area. Unfortunately, the crime has been seen in both tourist and non-tourist areas.
Disney cruises sale to both a private island, Castaway Cay, and to Nassau, the country’s capital. The increase in violent crime does not mean that this area is now unsafe to go to, it simply suggests that you be vigilant during your stay. Disney takes safety seriously, and you should not be deterred from going on your fun Disney cruise! If you choose to leave the Disney area, just be sure you’re taking good safety measures around the area.
During your cruise to Nassau, you can hop off the ship at the port to enjoy several fun experiences. It is a section for cruise guests with security. Your cruise shouldn’t be affected by this warning, but we want you to be informed about all the latest information that could pop up as you get ready to hit the seas!
We’ll keep you updated on all the latest Disney news, so be sure to keep following DFB!

FULL TOUR of the NEW Rooms at Disney’s Pixar Place Hotel
It’s always exciting when a Disney hotel gets re-themed.
Our jaws literally DROPPED when we saw the HUGE transformation of the Disneyland Hotel in Disneyland Paris. Well, another hotel a little closer to home also just recently got a completely new look, and it’s ADORABLE. We’re talking about the former Paradise Pier Hotel in Disneyland, which is now the Pixar Place Hotel. So let’s take a tour of the brand-new rooms there!
So if you hadn’t guessed, the Pixar Place Hotel is now all Pixar-themed. You’ll see TONS of Pixar references, artwork, and decor the minute you step into the lobby. This is a serious glow-up for this hotel.
There’s also brand NEW dining at the hotel, including a flagship restaurant on the first floor or Pixar Place Hotel, Great Maple, a Southern California Favorite.
There’s also Sketch Pad Cafe, a grab-and-go coffee and quick breakfast spot.
Want to grab something while you’re swimming? The rooftop pool bar, Small Bytes, has you covered.
Even the pool area got a massive upgrade!
But we’re here to show you the new Pixar-themed rooms at Pixar Place Hotel! So join us for a room tour of the standard rooms in this hotel.
As we stepped into the entry way, we were met by a small coffee nook complete with an ice chest. Did you notice the Pixar ball coasters?
On the opposite side, you’re greeted by the bathroom.
There are a lot of clean, white lines and interesting shapes in this room around the single sink and lit mirror…
… with open shelving underneath to stow away your personal items.
Right across from the sink, you’ll find the shower…
… which also features a detachable shower head, and the toilet is between the sink and shower.
Coming out of the bathroom, you’re greeted by two raised beds (with all the Disney/Pixar touches!)
Everything from the character mural above the headboard…
… to the decorative (Pixar ball) pillow…
… to the hidden details in the linens really bring this room together!
As you head outside the sliding door, there’s a small table and chairs out on the balcony.
The sofa folds down to reveal a single sleeper bed, and just above it you’ll find some of the most recognizable Disney/Pixar characters in the framed artwork.
If we glance back at the bed, you’ll see the raised platforms that allow for extra storage to tuck away your luggage.
And, to round out our tour you’ll find the T.V. mounted on the opposite wall facing the beds…
… with a few drawers underneath it, a coffee table book all about The Art of Pixar. The room even has its own Luxo Jr. lamp!
The Pixar Place Hotel is open now, so room reservations are open!
Stay tuned to DFB for more.

Don’t Panic, but DOZENS of Celebrities Could Be in Disney World in Early February
Have you ever met or seen a celebrity in Disney World?
We’ve seen lots of celebrities during our time in the parks, but it’s still pleasantly surprising when we see someone from a film or tv show we recognize. If you’re heading to Disney World in early February, here’s why you’ll want to keep your head on a swivel to check for celebrities!
From February 1st to 4th, 2024, MEGACON will be happening at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
This is located relatively close to Disney World, so while the event isn’t taking place at the parks, many of the celebrities attending the event could very well choose to stop by the parks and experience the magic!
You may see members of the Stranger Things cast…
…tons of Marvel stars…
…and some of your favorite actors from the Star Wars franchise.
You could also see stars like:
- Michael J Fox (Back to The Future)
- Robin Wright (The Princess Bride)
- Rainn Wilson (The Office)
- Sean Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy)
- Ashley Eckstein (voice of Ahsoka)
- Cameron Monaghan (Shameless)
- McKenna Grace (Ghostbusters: Afterlife)
- Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter)
- Matthew Lewis (Harry Potter)
Just to name a few!
Now, there’s NO guarantee that you’ll be able to see these actors in the parks, but we’re just telling you that you may want to keep an extra special eye out. Be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for all the latest Disney news!
