Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel at Disneyland Resort is now officially the Pixar Pier Hotel. The first branded Pixar Place Hotel merchandise is now available at the hotel’s gift shop, STOR-E.
The Pixar Place Hotel merchandise largely features a sketch-like version of Luxo Jr. and the ball he plays with in the 1986 Pixar animated short “Luxo Jr.” The desk lamp and ball have become icons of Pixar Animation Studios. The sketch versions of the two act as the logo of Pixar Place Hotel.
The magnet is a white rectangle. Luxo Jr. is pictured balancing on the ball with “Pixar Place Hotel” at the bottom. The ball is yellow with a blue stripe and red star.
“Pixar” is in the studio’s standard logo typeface, while “Place Hotel” is in a sans serif typeface.
The tumbler features the same logo and wordmark against a stainless steel red background. The lid is transparent.
The tumbler is hand wash only and not microwave-safe.
The short-sleeved T-shirt is a bright blue. Luxo Jr. and the ball are on the chest with “Pixar Place Hotel” in black lettering below.
Disney originally hoped to have Pixar Place Hotel open for the holiday season, as evidenced by this Christmas pin. It depicts Bing Bong from “Inside Out” popping out of a colorful stocking. “Pixar Place Hotel” is on the top of the stocking. It has a limited edition size of 2,000.
This matches the other stocking-inspired Christmas pins released at Disney Parks during the 2023 holiday season.
This open-edition pin features the same logo design as the magnet.

With so much being announced about 5 new lands and restaurants and more to come, it’s easy to have a few things buried in the hubbub. Let’s take a closer look at the most exciting things announced for Celestial Park at Epic Universe so far!
Universal Orlando just revealed more details about their upcoming park, Epic Universe. Within Epic Universe, a new land called Celestial Park will be the heart it all. It will also be the first land we’ll encounter at the new theme park after stepping through the entrance.

Celestial Park is expected to be made of “rolling gardens, chasing waterways, and strolling pathways,” and it’s really meant to mimic a real, nature-filled park. As soon as you enter the imaginative world, you’ll instantly be immersed in the atmosphere as you wander through “lush living gardens nestled along shimmering waters surrounded by stunning architecture inspired by astronomical and mythological elements.” This land can double as a place to relax while taking in the sights and sounds around you, but visitors will also be able to “take flight across a shooting comet on a roller coaster adventure, dine at brand-new restaurants and cuisines, and shop for exclusive merchandise.”

As we mentioned before, Celestial Park will be the gateway to explore the four additional worlds of Epic Universe. You’ll need to walk through here first to reach each land, but that doesn’t mean you should skip all there is to do inside Celestial Park! There will be several options to dine at new full-service restaurants like Atlantic and The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant…

… and if you’re looking for something quicker, you can grab a savory selection of barbecue meals at The Oak & Star Tavern and a full assortment of pizza offerings at Pizza Moon. If you’re just in the mood to curb your sweet tooth, Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets is where you’ll want to stop! You’ll be able to satisfy your cravings here with a unique selection of sweet treats, and more.
There’s plenty of entertainment to be found here! You can also take a thrilling ride or two on the Starfall Racers…

There will even be an interactive wet-play area that will double as a giant compass rose to the whole park. This water display will also feature dancing crystal blue fountains that will spring to life all around you. The water fountains here are capable of reaching up to 135 feet into the air and will perform several fountain shows to music and interactive lighting from daylight through the night.

Why? Well, Universal just announced all sorts of big news pertaining to Epic Universe — an all-new theme park coming to Universal Orlando in 2025. The area is set to include rides, shops, restaurants, hotels, and so much more. We’ve gotten a first glimpse at what we can expect from Epic Universe, and y’all… We’re so excited. Let’s talk about it!
Universal Orlando just shared that Epic Universe will be broken into five immersive lands: the Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe. However, there will also be an “entrance” land that has portals to the other four lands that features rides and attractions in itself.

It’s called Celestial Park, and it’ll be the where folks enter Epic Universe for the first time. It’s like the grand entrance to the new theme park! You’ll enter underneath the cronos — the large clock tower. There will also be portals into the five lands that make up the new park.

In Celestial park, there will be two rides — Starfall Racers (a dual-launch coaster), and Constellation Carousel, which will serve as the “grand centerpiece” of Celestial Park. There’ll also be a wet-play area, Astronomica, which will serve as a compass to the five lands, and even some shops and restaurants!

Atlantic will be a full-service “surf and turf” eatery inside a Victorian aquarium, The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant will take you on a journey across Asia as you indulge in authentic Chinese cuisine, and you can enjoy barbecue at The Oak & Star Tavern! Pizza Moon will serve up a variety of pizzas, the Super Nintendo Star Store is themed to all things Super Nintendo World, and finally, Moonship Chocolates and Celestial Sweets will be your one-stop shop for all things SWEET.

Universal Orlando has been working on building their all-new theme park, Epic Universe. The theme park is a huge addition to the Universal community of theme parks. Up until now, Universal hadn’t shared many details of the upcoming aspects of the park. For example, the only land we knew for sure that was coming to Epic Universe was Super Nintendo World. The other lands were speculated but not confirmed. Well, now Universal has confirmed 5 new lands, 3 new attractions, and 5 new restaurants! You know we’re always excited about new food, so let’s take a look at these new dining locations.
There will be a wide variety of new foods and dining experiences within Epic Universe! From full-service restaurants to quick pizza joints, the park will have it all.

Celestial Park will be the theme park’s central land where you will first enter into. From there, you’ll travel through portals to each of the different lands. So far, Universal has only announced restaurants for this land, Celestial Park. So you know a lot is yet to come!

First, Celestial Park will feature a full-service “surf and turf” restaurant called Atlantic. It will be inside a Victorian aquarium and have beautiful views of Celestial Park. Then, you can enjoy The Blue Dragon Pan-Asian Restaurant where you can enjoy flavors of Asia with authentic Chinese, Japanese, and Thai meals. It will also be a full-service location featuring neon dragons and ethereal lanterns!

For quicker meals, you’ll be able to enjoy The Oak & Star Tavern for some tasty barbecue or Pizza Moon for a variety of pizza! And if you’re in the mood for some sweets, don’t forget to swing by Moonship Chocolates & Celestial Sweets.

Who else is STOKED about the addition of Epic Universe to Universal Orlando?

The new theme park is currently set to open in 2025, and is set to bring new rides, attractions, restaurants, hotels, shops, and MORE. We just got news on one of the lands that you’ll be able to visit in Epic Universe, and it’s bringing new RIDES. Let’s talk about it!
Universal Orlando just shared that Epic Universe will feature FIVE super immersive lands that you’ll be able to wander through during your visit. You’ll first enter Celestial Park, which is the heart of Epic Universe. Here, there will be “portals” to other immersive worlds: the Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, Super Nintendo World, How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe.

In Celestial Park, you’ll be able to ride TWO new rides! The first one is Starfall Racers, a dual-launch racing coaster that’ll take you soaring through the skies to see who’s the fastest of them all. You’ll reach speeds up to 62 miles per hour and heights up to 133 feet. Oh, and the track is 5,000 feet long!

Next up, you’ll be able to ride Constellation Carousel, which is the “grand centerpiece” of Celestial Park. This is a family-friendly ride that will allow you to spin around aboard constellations. You’ll go forward, backward, and even make 360-degree spins!

There will also be a play area called Astronomica, which is a wet-play area that will double as a compass to the other immersive things you can do in Epic Universe!
Universal did give us a glimpse of one more ride, though. The intention was to create another chapter of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which can be found in the new Ministry of Magic land! Here, you’ll explore lore from Fantastic Beasts as well as the British Ministry of Magic. As for the ride here, Universal says it’ll have to be a surprise. 
We have a feeling it’s gonna be good.
