Three new Disney Parks exclusive Lug bags have arrived at Walt Disney World Resort featuring everyone’s favorite willy nilly silly old bear, Winnie the Pooh.

We found all three bags for sale at Hundred Acre Goods in Magic Kingdom.

Winnie the Pooh Lug Skeeter Mini Convertible Crossbody Bag – $60

A reporter holds up the Winnie the Pooh Lug crossbody bag.

This mini crossbody bag is done in the same style as the recent 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts Figment bag, except featuring Winnie the Pooh. His face and ears make up the lower front pocket, with the entire bag being his trademark shade of yellow.

This bag was first revealed at Destination D23 in 2023, and was said to be exclusive to the United Kingdom Pavilion in EPCOT; we have yet to see it available for purchase there.

A matching yellow Disney Parks Lug badge sits above Pooh’s face. A contrast red carry strap is attached to the top of the bag, inspired by the character’s red shirt.

A reporter shows off the back of the Winnie the Pooh Lug bag.

The back of the bag shows Pooh’s red shirt, with “Winnie the Pooh” and a small “hunny” bee” printed below. Two small straps above the art allow the wearer to use this as a belt bag instead of a crossbody purse.

A reporter shows the inside of the Winnie the Pooh Lug bag.

The lining of the bag is white with light blue illustrations of bees, “hunny” pots, and the “Winnie the Pooh” wordmark.

Winnie the Pooh Lug Hopper Shorty Backpack – $90

A small Lug Hopper Shorty Backpack featuring Winnie the Pooh art has also made its debut. The backpack is mostly off-white, with soft blue illustrations and the occasional pop of red-orange color. The hardware is a dark silver.

The Disney Parks Lug enamel badge is attached to the smaller front pocket. Here, you can see the pattern, which features art of Pooh dressed as a King’s Guard, Tigger playing with a ball, Piglet, Eeyore, and more.

A reporter shows a side view of the Lug bag.

There are slip pockets on either side of the backpack to hold your travel cups or water bottles.

The pattern continues onto the back of the bag, as well as the padded straps.

The lining of the backpack is a light blue, with the same pattern as the mini crossbody above, only in a darker blue.

Winnie the Pooh Lug Dory Crossbody Bag – $80

The final new Lug bag is a Dory Crossbody bag, which is visually styled to look like a tote, but comes with a longer strap inside.

This bag continues the same all-over pattern as the backpack, but includes a red badge on the front with the “Winnie the Pooh” wordmark in white.

The interior of the bag can be zipped shut to keep your items safe. The bag can be carried by either the short handles or the included longer strap.

A reporter shows the inside of the Lug crossbody bag.

As you can see in this photo, the longer strap comes attached to the D rings on the outside of the bag. Inside, this crossbody share the same lining and pattern as the backpack. There are multiple slip pockets and a zippered pocket for organization and storage.

REVIEW: Paradise Garden Grill Eats at Disney’s 2024 Lunar New Year Festival

One Disneyland spot has CHANGED for a limited time!

Paradise Garden Grill

Paradise Garden Grill is a year-round snack spot in Disney California Adventure, but when festivals come around, it often features limited-time eats. That’s exactly what is happening right now with the arrival of the Lunar New Year celebration (which will only last through February 18th, 2024!). But are any of these limited-time snacks worth trying? Let’s find out together!

Menu

On the menu at Paradise Garden Grill, you’ll find quite a few festival eats — some of which are new, others of which are returning. There is a NEW plant-based item, a WHOLE fish served family-style for 2, and even Boba Tea.

©Disney

So, let’s check it all out and see what’s worth your cash.

Eats

First up is the Whole Fish! This is served family-style for two with steamed rice and stir-fried vegetables, and black vinegar and soy sauce with sugar, garlic, and red Fresno chile. It’s priced at $29.99. This year, Disney has marked the item as “new,” but whole fish as a general concept isn’t new to this food spot during the Lunar New Year. In 2022 & 2023, we had a whole fried fish with sweet and sour sauce (that came with steamed rice, stir-fried veggies, and chicken soup). This year, they’ve replaced the sweet and sour sauce with a zesty, new black vinegar and soy sauce glaze.

Whole Fish

Last year, we received a fish that was tiny and nearly burnt to a crisp. The sauce also did not do it for us. This year, though, this fish is PERFECTION. The new sauce is way better, and we liked the little kick the chili peppers and ginger give it. The texture is good, too.

Closer look

We will warn you, though: there are a lot of bones in it, so eat it carefully.

What’s left

Next up is the returning Shrimp Lo Mein. This made of lo mein noodles tossed with shrimp, mushrooms, onions, carrots, and bok choy. It can be all yours for $15.49. Last year, we thought this was a tasty dish loaded with flavor and a good portion size.

Shrimp Lo Mein

You can also get Pork Bánh Mì here. That is made with grilled pork belly with pickled carrots, cucumbers, daikon, and jalapeños, with a spicy mayo, and it is priced at $14.49In past years, we had essentially the same dish.

When we had it in 2022, the Banh Mi was VERY refreshing — yes, we just called a sandwich refreshing! The fresh baguette and crisp veggies gave the sandwich a lovely texture, which combined well with the savory pork. When we tried again in 2023, the addition of the spicy mayo on top just gives it the extra touch to push things from good to GREAT!

Banh Mi

You can also get the returning Bulgogi Fried Rice. This is made with kimchi, egg, pickled cucumber, green onion, and sesame seeds. The dish is plant-based and is priced at $14.49.

A returning classic is the Korean BBQ chicken served with steamed rice and stir-fried vegetables, served family-style for two and is priced at $29.99. In past festivals, this dish was delicious, but it didn’t stand out that much. It was basically your average barbecue with some Korean-inspired flavors, but nothing to write home about!

Korean-style chicken

Looking for something sweet? Paradise Garden Grill has you covered with the Mango Pudding. This dessert is made with a hint of coconut milk topped with mango and a chocolate décor and is priced at $6.99.

Mango Pudding

Okay, so we were kinda’ just “meh” about this dessert. The pudding did have a fresh mango flavor, especially with the fruit topping. However, we thought this dessert was small, especially considering the price. We also didn’t taste the hint of coconut milk.

Drinks

First up we have the Tiger Milk Boba Tea with brown sugar. This is a non-alcoholic drink that is priced at $6.99 This is a returning drink we’ve had a previous Lunar New Year festivals, the Tiger Milk Tea that had brown sugar boba. We really liked the previous version and found that it had a good amount of sweetness with an almost maple syrup vibe (in a good way!).

Tiger Milk Tea

Next is a new beverage, the Yuja Makgeolli Cocktail. This is made with citrus-flavored rice wine, soju, and a splash of Sprite. It’s priced at $17. This is a sweet and fruity change up from previous years when the cocktails were on the spicier side with ginger and even Fresno chile!

You can also get the Four Sons Brewing Lucky Dragon IPA here for $14.25. Or you can pick up the Lotus Flower Glow Cube for $6.50.

Lotus Flower Glowing Cube from 2023

Overall

This year brings a lot of old favorites to Paradise Garden Grill, but if you’re an adventurous eater, we can’t recommend the Whole Fish enough. It’s been given a HUGE upgrade from last year and we believe it’s high-end restaurant quality this year. However, we’d skip the mango pudding. Although it was tasty, we didn’t feel it was worth the price, especially with how many other sweet treats you can get at the festival.

NEWS: The Marvel Movie You’ve Been Waiting For Just Finished Filming

Disney has a LOT of plans for movies over the next few years, although some releases ended up getting delayed due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.

©Marvel

But we have a LOT to look forward to in 2024, including Inside Out 2, and Mufasa: The Lion KingHowever, one of the most anticipated Disney movies of the year is a Marvel film, Deadpool 3. Well, that movie was also delayed due to the strikes, but it WILL come out this year and we now have confirmation that the production has finished filming.

Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds, posted on social media that filming has finally been completed on Deadpool 3. Reynolds also praised the film’s cast and crew in his post.

Reynolds’ Deadpool 3 co-star Hugh Jackman, who will reprise his role as Wolverine, also took to social media to say his goodbyes to the cast and crew at the end of filming.

Deadpool 3 will be the first Deadpool movie to fully fall under the Disney umbrella after Disney purchased 20th Century Fox — which produced the first two Deadpool films. The film will also be the 34th movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Reynolds and Jackman are joined by Morena Baccarin, Karan Soni, Leslie Uggams, Jennifer Garner, and more.

©Marvel

Deadpool 3 was in the middle of filming when the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes interrupted the entertainment industry. However, soon after the SAG-AFTRA strike ended (the WGA had ended prior to that), production on the movie picked up, but Disney was still forced to move the film’s release date from May to July 26th, 2024.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for more Deadpool 3 news as we wait for the first trailer, so stay tuned to DFB for more.

Comcast Q4 2023 Earnings Report Reveals Universal Parks Revenue Up Thanks to Super Nintendo World

Comcast released its Q4 2023 earnings report revealing an increase in revenue for Universal theme parks, although lower revenue for Universal Orlando Resort.

Comcast Q4 2023 Earnings Report

Super Nintendo World Universal Studios Hollywood. Comcast has released the results for its Q4 2023 earnings.

The increase is 12.2 percent, from $2.11 billion to $2.37 billion. Comcast attributes the increase to Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood. The land soft-opened in early January 2023 before a grand opening the next month.

The land’s success was partially offset by lower revenue at Universal Orlando Resort, but Comcast stated the Florida theme parks “continued to be above comparable pre-pandemic 2019 levels.”

The adjusted EBITDA also increased by 11.6 percent from $782 million to $872 million.

We’ll likely see a significant increase in revenue for Universal Orlando Resort after Epic Universe opens in the summer of 2025. The park will have its own version of Super Nintendo World, which first opened at Universal Studios Japan. Check out our most recent Epic Universe construction update.

Comcast CEO Brian Roberts said of Epic Universe, “It’s completely original. It’s maybe the most exciting project I’ve seen since we bought NBCUniversal getting built.” He added that the board of directors would be visiting the construction site soon.

Universal Studios Japan will also soon open a Donkey Kong expansion to their Super Nintendo World. The Donkey Kong area will open at Super Nintendo World in Epic Universe with the park.
