We’re One Step Closer to the Opening of Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs in Disney World

Are you ready for 2024? We know we are…because NEW things are coming to the Disney World hotels!

Disney’s BoardWalk Inn

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is getting a new Disney Vacation Club tower, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is getting some serious updates, and Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is getting The Cake Bake Shop restaurant. But that’s not all that’s coming to the BoardWalk — and we’re here to report on another change!

A while back, it was announced that Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs would replace BoardWalk To-Go at Disney’s BoardWalk. Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs already has a location in Disneyland Resort at Downtown Disney, but this would be its first spot in Disney World.

We’ve been watching construction on the small snack stand ever since, and this week we noticed a big change! For reference, here’s what the snack stand looked like on Monday, January 15th

What it looked like last week

…and here’s what it looked like as of Monday, January 22nd! The sign for BoardWalk To-Go has been removed, and construction workers have started painting the top of the building.

It’s been updated!

This means we’re one step closer to the grand opening of this new location! We can’t wait to try ALL the corn dogs. Stay tuned to DFB for more news about this upcoming snack stand!

ALERT! There’s a NEW Popcorn Bucket in Disney World!

There are few Disney World souvenirs as iconic as the popcorn bucket.

Who else loves popcorn buckets?

Whether or not you grab whatever regular refillable bucket is available at the time OR you just can’t stop yourself from grabbing those adorable specialty popcorn buckets, these are great souvenirs that you can use again and again. They make for great park accessories, score you discounted popcorn refills for the length of your trip, and they even make great shelf decor or popcorn buckets at home. If you keep up with all things corny at Disney World (Not as corny as that joke, huh?), we have a new popcorn bucket to show you!

We noticed an all-NEW popcorn bucket at Disney World! This new design features all sorts of fan-favorite characters. It’s $13 and available at various popcorn stands throughout the parks. So far, we’ve seen it at Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

IT’S SO CUTE

On one side, you have the Toy Story aliens, Moana, Tower of Terror, and Spaceship Earth.

One side!

On the other side, you’ll see Princess Tiana, Simba, the Tree of Life, and Cinderella Castle.

The other side!

We absolutely love this bucket sheerly because it’s so different to what we’ve seen lately! This is such a fun breath of fresh air after seeing the 50th anniversary popcorn buckets and the 100th anniversary popcorn buckets. This follows another super fun popcorn bucket we saw a bit earlier this month.

Another one we’ve seen this year!

Disney, please never stop with these colorful popcorn buckets. We love them. We’ll continue to keep you all in the loop with more Disney news, so make sure to follow along so that you never miss a thing.

It comes attached to a large backing featuring concept art for the upcoming attraction by Brittany L. Smith, a Senior Production Designer – Specialty Design for Walt Disney Imagineering.

The art includes an illustration of the tiara, Tiana’s Palace, her necklace, and a larger piece showing Tiana as a toddler with a paper crown and the reflection of her adult self donning the real thing.
