REMINDER: A Popular EPCOT Ride Is CLOSED Tomorrow!
One of EPCOT‘s most popular rides is set to close tomorrow!
Disney World has seen several closures recently with a few of their rides under extended refurbishment and even a handy transportation service hasn’t been in operation for a while while it was undergoing maintenance. However, if you were hoping to catch a glimpse of the Frozen sisters and their friends soon, you may want to look at rearranging a few of your plans.
EPCOT’s popular Frozen attraction, Frozen Ever After, will be closed on January 24th. This slow-moving boat ride in the Norway Pavilion takes you on a journey through Arendelle’s frozen willow forest, listening to Grand Pabbie retell the story of Anna and Elsa’s upbringing among the “boulders” in Troll Valley, and eventually head up the North Mountain for a spectacular display of Elsa’s icy powers when the sisters invite you along for the ride!
If you think you’ll develop “Frozen Fever” from being without Frozen Ever After too long, you won’t have to wait as long as you think. The scheduled routine maintenance closure is set to start on January 24th, 2024, and might be the most brief maintenance closure we’ve seen in quite a while.
According to Disney, the closure is only expected to last a day, so the silver lining here is the ride is expected to be back in operation on January 25th, 2024 (and in time for Early Park Entry.)
If you were hoping to ride this attraction on the day it’s closed, you’ll have a good chance of riding it on another day during your visit.
