Disney’s Animal Kingdom has welcomed three new bundles of joy, as a set of baby Cotton-Top Tamarin monkey triplets have been born.

The birth of the triplets was announced by Dr. Mark Penning, vice president of Disney’s Animals, Science & Environment on his Instagram.
The baby tamarins have spent the last several days bonding with their parents and fellow siblings. According to Penning’s post, both the babies’ mom and dad share infant care responsibilities, and “carry their young on their backs until approximately 14 weeks of age.”
Guests can visit the babies and see the rest of the Cotton-Top Tamarin monkey family on Discovery Island at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

This is the latest new baby born at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, following the birth of a baby African elephant in December 2023 — the first in seven years.
