Progress is being made on the future Grand Avenue Coke Kiosk shaping up at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World.
Grand Avenue Kiosk Construction Update
One major new update is the addition of lighting across one side of the kiosk. We spotted the lights on the left side of the building (the cream-colored side is the front), which were not there during our last visit in late December.
While we have not gotten exact details of what food and beverage items will be sold here, details thanks to an Imagineering permit, have clued us in on what to expect. Listed as a “Grand Avenue Coke Kiosk” in a permit in the Central Florida Tourism Oversight District database, the kiosk will likely sell Coke products. Disney has yet to confirm a full menu or an official name for the kiosk.
Another update is the addition of metal framework on the back of the building for an opening that leads to the roof.
Construction walls for the project first went up in June of 2023 and Disney has not yet given an opening date.
Grand Avenue, the area where the kiosk is located, is the section of Disney’s Hollywood Studio that includes Muppets Courtyard, Muppet*Vision 3D, and the area that leads to the main entrance to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.
Guests hoping to visit Muppet*Vision 3D or PizzeRizzo during the construction need not worry, as both have remained open, with only a slight inconvenience of having to walk around the construction walls until the project is complete.
