The new staircase entrance to the Frontierland Railroad Station is now open amid construction for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.

Frontierland Railroad Station Entrance

An A-frame sign points guests toward the new Frontierland Railroad Station entrance at Magic Kingdom.

A temporary A-frame sign that reads “Train Entrance” directs guests off to the left side of the Frontireland station.

The new staircase to the Frontierland Railroad Station entrance is now open for guests.

The staircase entrance to the Frontierland Railroad Station was torn down and completely rebuilt. Guests can now use it to access the station rather than entering through the exit. Back in December 2023, dark wooden boards were added to the new staircase.

Brown construction walls stand in front of the Frontierland Railroad Station.

The flagstone pathway behind the Frontierland Station is still available for guests, having opened back in December 2023. However, the only thing behind the station that guests can visit is a restroom.

This interior portion of the station is partially roped-off.

We also spotted some Wet Paint signs on the newly finished staircase. The sign features Donald, shocked and pointing at one of his nephews (it’s unclear if this is Huey, Dewey, or Louie), who is tracking wet paint marks across the sign.

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure

The Tiana's Foods water tower stands tall at Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

Over at the front of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, we spotted some new tape or paint on the Tiana’s Foods water tower. Disneyland just installed its version of the water tower, while Magic Kingdom has had its tower since June 2023.

Colorful tape or themed paint features Mardi Gras colors on the Tiana's Foods water tower.

Looking closely at the supports we saw thin lines of green and purple. This could be construction-related, or it could be new theming to support the Mardi Gras setting of the attraction. The traditional colors of Mardi Gras are purple, green, and gold.

The newly installed weathervane is surrounded with scaffolding and faux greenery.

The recently installed weathervane crafted by Louisana master blacksmith Darryl Reeves is boxed up in scaffolding along the hillside.

Workers continue their efforts on the exterior of Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

We also spotted a few workers present on the exterior of the attraction today, but not many. They appear to be doing more work in the sections of greenery dominated by fake flowers.

Even more scaffolding has come down since our last look at the drop for Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The large half-circle above the drop is nearly entirely uncovered, with just a single section of scaffolding blocking the opening. A large section of scaffolding in the middle of the drop was also removed.

We also saw that a new set of black curtains have gone up under one of the tunnels leading to the lagoon. This could be to help block additional sunlight, or to keep ongoing construction out of guests’ view.

Queue

A guest area near the Frontierland Railroad Station is blocked by temporary rolling planters.

The exit from the restrooms behind the railroad station has been temporarily sectioned off by rolling planters. The restrooms and the sitting area here are still available for guest use. The former Laughin’ Place play area was previously located under the railroad station, but was demolished in December 2023.

Construction in the Tiana's Bayou Adventure queue.

This section of brickwork in the queue now has a newly formed well or manhole cover-type of formation in the ground. The flagstone circle is completely surrounded by bricks in a herringbone pattern. New silver fencing has also been added to the left side perimeter.

To the left of the brick and flagstone, large dirt piles have appeared. You can also see where the newly-built staircase extends out beyond the construction walls to guests below.

Red pavement still visible in the queue for Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

Some of the red pavement is still visible as dirt and other materials are being moved around. It will presumably be replaced by the new themed flagstone and brickwork at some point.
