REMINDER: A Classic Disney World Attraction Is CLOSING in ONE WEEK!

Disney World is changing in some MAJOR ways.

Magic Kingdom is seeing some huge updates, especially — we’ve been keeping up with all of the construction progress on the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure transformation, but that’s not all! Last year, Disney announced that another iconic Magic Kingdom attraction would be getting an update, and that time has almost come.

Country Bear Jamboree is changing in a huge way in Magic Kingdom! Disney Imagineers are updating the show with “an all-new act.” The bears are going to be singing Disney songs in NEW styles, like pop-country, rockabilly, and bluegrass!

The show will close on January 27th, 2024, for refurbishment, and it’ll reopen with the updated show THIS SUMMER, 2024.

Disney has shared that the new show is inspired by the Opry-style shows of Nashville, Tennessee. They even brought Nashville musicians in to help out with the arrangements! One of the songs we know we’ll see is a new version of “Bare Necessities” in a rockabilly style. The new show will include easter eggs throughout that nod to the previous show.
