REVIEW: Every Food and Beverage Item Available at the 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts

The 2024 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts has officially begun! To help guests who will be visiting the park during the festival, we’ve created a helpful guide that should give you information on all of the food studios available throughout the park- prices, photos, and most importantly, our thoughts on all the dishes to help you figure out which items you want to purchase.

If you just want to see our thoughts on the new items, we’ve got a list of only those, as well as the video review below.

The Artist’s Table

The Hummingbird Cake is back but with caramel sauce and pineapple compote instead of banana sorbet.

Duck and Dumplings – $7.25

Smoked Duck Breast, Ricotta Dumplings, Baby Vegetables and Duck Jus

The greasy duck reminds us of poorly prepared Chinese food. The dumplings are dense, and the ricotta is slightly congealed and not very good. We rate this a 1 out of 7 and wouldn’t recommend this.

Hummingbird Cake – $4.75

Banana-and-Pecan Cake dipped in Cream Cheese Icing with Caramel Sauce and Warm Pineapple Compote

This is a solid option. The nicely spiced cake is moist with a nice spice, but the aftertaste is all banana. We rate it 4 out of 7.

*NEW* Wicked Weed Pineapple Daydream IPA, Asheville, NC (6.7% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

Also known as Dr. Dank Pineapple Dream IPA, Wicked Weed gives the following description:

“This IPA [combines the] dreamiest New-World hops with real pineapple for a tropical, resinous blast.”

*NEW* Brew Hub Jazzberry Wheat Jam Ale, Lakeland, FL (% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

From correspondence with Brew Hub, this beer has:

“the aroma of fresh blueberries and caramel sweetness with a smooth and silky mouthfeel reminiscent of a freshly baked tray of muffins with hints of vanilla. Brewed with 2-Row, White Wheat, caramel malt & oats with Columbus and Cascade hops. Conditioned on fresh blueberries and vanilla.”

*NEW* Lost Coast Brewery Peanut Butter Chocolate Milk Stout (5.6% ABV), Eureka, CA – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

From Lost Coast Brewery:

“A smooth and creamy midnight black stout. Deep rich sweetness with layers of coffee, caramel, toffee, prunes, raisins and roasted peanuts. An easy drinking dark beer, brewed with lactose to give a full mouthfeel and up-front sweetness. Balanced and approachable, for both casual fans of stouts and aficionados.”

*NEW* Migration Pinot Noir, Sonoma, CA ($42/bottle) – $7.50

From Migration Wines:

“This classy and poised Pinot Noir displays an array of dark berry notes, including raspberry, blackberry, blueberry, and ripe cherry, along with a hint of baking spices. Balanced tension and refined tannins on the palate make the wine both elegant and effortlessly delicious, with subtle flavors of cedar and cassis lingering on the finish.”

The Artist’s Table is located at The American Adventure at the back of World Showcase, to the right of the rotunda entrance. You can find it at number 14 on the map below.

The Craftsman’s Courtyard

*NEW* Grilled Pork Belly – $6.75

with Salsa Verde, Broccoli Rabe, Pickled Peppers, and Raclette Cheese on Grilled Sourdough

The pork is closer to pork loin, but it is quite sizable, tender, and delicious. The accompaniments (and especially the cheese on top) bring a lot to the dish, all complemented by the sourdough bread. We’d give it a 5 out of 7.

*NEW* Grilled Marinated Skirt Steak – $7.00

with Caramelized Onions and Mushrooms, Blue Cheese Fondue, and Arugula on a Grilled French Roll

Though not in the name, the skirt steak is a sandwich. The bread appears hard, but it was quite soft. The rich cheese and caramelized toppings complement the tender steak. We rate this a 6 out of 7.

BrewDog Jet Black Heart Nitro Oatmeal Stout, Columbus, OH (7.0% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

From BrewDog:

“Jet Black Heart is back; back in black. With an amped up 7% ABV, this Nitro Oatmeal Stout is decadent to the core and loaded with heaps of oatmeal, delivering a red carpet of silky opulence. It’s overflowing with notes of bitter cacao, roasted coffee, and dark berry fruits. It’ll plunge you into the deep, dark, abyss.”

Cold Fashion Coffee Cocktail – $11.50

Cuisine Classique

Beef Wellington – $8.75

Mushroom Duxelles, Prosciutto, and Puff Pastry with Red Wine Demi-Glace

While we didn’t receive any prosciutto, this dish was an overall success. The beef was medium, and the tasty red wine demi-glace kept the beef from drying out. We rate this a 6 out of 7.

Cast Iron-Roasted P.E.I. Mussels – $8

with Sautéed Tomatoes, Garlic, and Fresh Herbs

The P.E.I. Mussels were undercooked, with many shells still closed. The mussels that had opened up were very nice and soaked up the tomato flavor while avoiding fishiness. The garlic toast was very crisp with strong flavor. We rate this a 4 out of 7.

*NEW* Gulf Stream Brewing Company Sum of All Colors IPA, Ft. Lauderdale, FL (% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

“Hoppy. Dark. Delicious. This black IPA is a complex mélange of dark roasted malts with a heavy dose of Amarillo, Chinook and Simcoe hops. It has a prominent piney bite with a light toasty aroma.”

*NEW* Tesselaarsdal Pinot Noir, South Africa ($47/bottle) – $11

According to Tesselaarsdal, this wine:

“displays a true reflection of fruit from the Hemel-en-Aarde Ridge. Layers of subtle notes of red cherries and raspberries with combined hints of cloves and baking spices.”

Deco Delights

Neapolitan Dessert Trio: Chocolate Tart, Vanilla Bean Cheesecake and Strawberry Mousse – $5.25

The chocolate tart would be nice if not for the outer shell that distracts from the richness.

The vanilla bean cheesecake is the best of the three. The cheesecake is very rich, and it’s supported by a tasty shortbread cookie.

The strawberry mousse’s downfall is a hard outer shell that we don’t love, but the strawberry flavor inside is subtle and sweet. We rate the entire trio a 5 out of 7.

3 Daughters Brewing Strawberry Blonde Nitro, St. Petersburg, FL (5.0% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

From 3 Daughters Brewing Company:

“It is golden in color with a very slight pink hue and a white head. This blonde ale is infused with strawberries during secondary fermentation. The smell of strawberry dominates the aroma but there is a modest malt essence. The flavor is an even balance of malt and strawberry with just a little hop bitterness. It is crisp, dry and nitrogen gives it a smooth creamy finish.”

81Bay Brewing Co. Vanilla Porter, Tampa, FL (6.0% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

From correspondence with 81Bay Brewing Co., their Vanilla Porter is:

“a creamy nitrogenated American Porter with a roasted malty backbone, perfectly complemented by natural organic vanilla.”

Playalinda Brewing Company Milk Stout, Titusville, FL (4.5% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

From Playalinda Brewing Company:

“This special nitro milk stout is brewed with lactose to give a slight sweet and creamy mouthfeel. followed by enticing notes of dark chocolate, finished off with mellow flavors of roasted malt.”

Espresso Martini featuring Boyd & Blair Potato Vodka ($33/bottle) – $12.00

If you like espresso martinis, you’ll probably like this, but there are much better espresso martinis elsewhere on property. The espresso is the best flavor in the drink — the only issue is that it does taste like a lower-end espresso martini. It’s not bad, but we wouldn’t get it again if we had an option to get it anywhere else. We rate this a 3 out of 7.

The Deconstructed Dish

Deconstructed BLT – $7.25

Crispy Pork Belly, Soft-Poached Egg, Onion Bread Pudding, Watercress Espuma and Tomato Jam

The dry, tough, and unmarinated pork belly is the weakest part of the dish. The delicious onion bread pudding is soft on the inside with a slight crisp to the outside, and a well-balanced flavor profile. The egg was perfectly runny. The overcooked pork belly really detracted from what could have been a perfect dish. We rate this a 5 out of 7.

Deconstructed Key Lime Pie – $6.50

Flexible Key Lime Curd, “Key Lime” Mousse, Graham Cracker Cake and Meringues

This remains a top tier dish with the perfect balance of tart and sweet. The presentation encapsulates the theme of the booth and allows you to balance the flavors to your preference. The moist and flavorful cake is a highlight for us. We rate this a 7 out of 7.

Wicked Weed Brewing Blank Canvas Belgian Blonde Witbier, Asheville, NC (4.8% ABV) – $ for 6 oz., $ for 12 oz.

From correspondence with Wicked Weed Brewing, this beer is:

“hazy white, with a white head… Blank Canvas is a Belgian inspired Wit beer brewed with coriander, chamomile, orange peel, and grapefruit. Malted wheat gives this beer its distinct mouthfeel and smoothness.”

*NEW* Deconstructed Strawberry Mint Julep (Non-Alcoholic) – $4.50

If you try it “deconstructed” without squeezing the pipette, it’s overwhelmingly mint. With the strawberry added, it’s overwhelmingly sweet. We won’t be back for this. We rate it a 2 out of 7.

*NEW* Deconstructed Strawberry Mint Julep with Bourbon – $12

The bourbon is an improvement. This is better and more authentic than its non-alcoholic version, though we still find it sickeningly sweet. We rate it a 4 out of 7.

El Artista Hambriento

While there was a Carne Asada dish last year, this year’s edition is entirely reworked with new ingredients.

Carne Asada – $10.50

Chipotle-Marinated Beef Sirloin, Grilled Queso Fresco, Nopales Salad with Queso Fresco Foam, and Chicharron Dust

The beef itself is juicy and flavorful. We recommend pairing the grilled queso, the queso fresco foam, and the steak all together. The chicharron dust does nothing for the flavor profile but adds a nice touch to the presentation. We rate this dish a 5 out of 7.

*NEW* Tostada de Langosta – $8

Chilled Lobster with Chipotle Aïoli, Onions, and Mango on a Fried Corn Tortilla with Guacamole, Shredded Cabbage, and Hot Sauce

This is a huge departure from previous events. The tortilla, served cold, is perfectly crispy and topped with a generous serving of lobster. The spicy hot sauce is perfectly offset by the cool, crunchy slaw. We’d rate this 6 out of 7.

Mexican Craft Beer (5% ABV) – $6 for 6 oz., $11 for 12 oz.

This is an interesting, hoppy IPA. It has a strange citrus aftertaste. It reminded us of the Jai Alai IPA from Cigar City Brewing.

*NEW* Rubí Delicioso Margarita – $16.50

Tromba Blanco Tequila ($41/bottle), Lejay Blackcurrant Liqueur ($38/bottle), Citrus, Mint, Spicy Agave and Beet Juice

The margarita is smoky and has a good kick, but it’s as if you shoved a full beet in your mouth. This was a divisive drink, with some liking its uniqueness, but most of us felt it was off-putting and syrupy. We rate this drink a 4 out of 7.

*NEW* Smokey Banana Bliss Margarita – $15.50

Ten to One Rum ($21/bottle), Ilegal Mezcal Joven ($30/bottle), Banana Purée and Lime Juice

This is possibly the worst cocktail in EPCOT festival history. The artificial banana is medicinal in flavor and the drink overall is cloying and sticky. Do not get this, please. We rate it a 1 out of 7.

El Artista Hambriento is conveniently located on the waterside of World Showcase Promenade adjacent to La Cantina de San Angel at the Mexico Pavilion. You can find it at number 8 on the map below.

Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey: Art, Food and Little Sparks of Magic

Blueberry-filled Pastry Tart with Purple Icing – $4.75

This looks like a sloppy Pop Tart and tastes like one too. Rather, it tastes like a poor imitation of an off brand toaster pastry. It’s doughy quite dry. The blueberry flavor is weak, and the moisture of the filling fails to compensate for the dry pastry. We rate this a 1 out of 7.

Rainbow Cake with Freeze-Dried Skittles Bite-Sized Candies – $5.50

This seems to have been made for Instagram. The freeze-dried Skittles pair well with the moist but nearly flavorless cake.  The icing is where the real flavor comes in, especially once incorporating the Skittles. It’s pretty, and pretty good at that. We rate this a 6 out of 7.

Figment Premium Popcorn Bucket with Rainbow Popcorn – $30

The Figment popcorn bucket has become a festival must-have, and this year, the new design represents the whole Imagination! Pavilion. The popcorn is standard caramel corn — an overly sweet but photogenic version of the classic.

Grape Smoothie with Freeze-Dried Skittles Bite-Sized Candies (Non-Alcoholic) – $5.75

A plastic clear glass with Figment's features on it, so it looks like the purple dragon when filled with the grape smoothie.

The cup is a must-have! In classic Figment style, the flavor profile took us back to the 1980s. It tastes not unlike Purplesaurus Rex Kool-Aid. The nostalgia factor rules here and it isn’t overly sweet. The freeze dried Skittles are crunchy and not chewy, as if a Skittle had the texture of a Cheeto. Between the culinary time travel and the super-awesome Figment cup, this is a winner. We rate this a 7 out of 7.

3 Daughters Brewing Black Cherry Hard Cider, St. Petersburg, FL (5.5% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

“Crisp apples blended with wild black cherries create a slightly tart, barely sweet cider perfectly refreshing for a sunny Florida day.”

3 Daughters Brewing Blood Orange Hard Cider, St. Petersburg, FL (5.5% ABV)  $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

“The perfect amount of zesty blood orange flavor brings the aroma of an endless summer with this medium-bodied, semi-sweet cider.”

3 Daughters Brewing Passion Fruit Hard Cider, St. Petersburg, FL (5.5% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

“Tangy tropical passion fruit flavor swirled with crisp, bright apples make this juicy, light-bodied cider the ideal treat for the Florida heat.”

81Bay Brewing Co. Green with Envy Blonde Ale, Tampa, FL (5.4% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

“A gold medal winning blonde ale with a light body and crisp finish, colored/flavored with organic pandan leaf, which adds notes of earthy vanilla and coconut.”

81Bay Brewing Co. Blue Butterfly Lager, Tampa, FL (4.2% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

“A light-bodied and slightly sweet rice lager flavored with all natural butterfly pea for light herbal tea accents.”

Urban Artifact The Gadget Raspberry & Blackberry Midwest Fruit Tart, Cincinnati, OH (7.9% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

According to Urban Artifact, this is:

“A Midwest Fruit Tart brewed with 1,200 lbs of blackberries, 1,200 lbs of raspberries, and 30g of vanilla beans per 30 bbl batch.”

Figment’s Inspiration Station at the Odyssey: Art, Food and Little Sparks of Magic, as the name suggests, is located in the Odyssey, between Test Track and the Mexico Pavilion. You can find it at number 5 in the map below.

Goshiki

The Ichigo Mochi is back, but the mascarpone has been replaced with white chocolate and strawberry cream.

*NEW* Wagyu Bun – $9.75

We recommend this steamed bun. The beef inside is high-quality and minced.

Our bun had a poor proportion, with some bites far breadier than beefy. It didn’t affect our enjoyment much, though. We rate it a 5 out of 7.

Sushi Donut – $8.75

For theme park sushi, this isn’t bad. It’s probably better than half the sushi restaurants in Orlando. However, there’s nothing special to it besides the shape, so we’d suggest saving your money for the more unique festival offerings.

Ichigo Mochi – Daifuku – $6.75

Skip this. The bean paste is off-putting, and the mochi tastes cheap.

It isn’t worth the price, and we rate it a 2 out of 7.

*NEW* Murasaki Blueberry Drink (Non-Alcoholic) – $6.75

Sweet Blueberry and Cream

The yuzu gives a hint of citrus that balances out the sweet, and the flavors all complement each other. We rate it an 5 out of 7.

*NEW* Mikan Orange IPA (% ABV) – $5.50 for 6 oz., $10 for 12 oz.

Masu Sake in a Traditional Personalized Wooden Cup – $14

If you’re looking for a unique souvenir in the spirit of the festival, this is worth it. You really do get a wooden cup that the Cast Members can personalize with your name written in Japanese. The sake is average, but it’s ladled into the wooden cup from a huge barrel.

*NEW* Blueberry Cocktail – $8.50

Nigori Sake with Sweet Blueberry, Cream and Yuzu

The Nigori Sake makes this even better than its non-alcoholic counterpart. It’s a strong drink and much more enjoyable than the Rubí Delicioso Margarita at El Artista Hambriento. We rate this a 6 out of 7.

Gourmet Landscapes

This year, the Wild Mushroom Risotto no longer has aged Parmesan.

Verjus-Roasted Beets – $5.50

with Goat Cheese, Petite Lettuce, Blackberry Gastrique and Spiced Pecans

The roasted beets are perfectly complemented by the cheese. This dish isn’t hearty, but we think it’s great. We rate it a 5 out of 7.

Roasted Bone Marrow – $10.50

with Onion Marmalade, Pickled Mushrooms, and Petite Lettuce

Despite the sensation of walking away from a booth with a Fred Flintstone-esque bone, this was a major let down. Everything on top is good, but the marrow is flavorless. It’s not worth the money. We rate this a 2 out of 7.

Wild Mushroom Risotto (Plant-Based) – $9.75

with Truffle Shavings and Zinfandel Reduction

This risotto is phenomenal, and it’s one of only two vegan-friendly items this year. It’s rich and decadent with generously sized chunks of mushroom. We rate it a 7 out of 7.

Whole Hog Brewery Raspberry Chéret Double Radler, Stevens Point, WI (5.5% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

Untappd describes this as:

“A double Radler beer with natural flavor added. Inspired by the colorful poster the French artist Jules Chéret brought to the streets of 19th-century Paris, Raspberry Chéret is a crisp ale made with Pilsen Malt, Saab Hops, raspberry, citrus, generous carbonation, and twice the bite of a traditional Radler beer.”

Schlumberger Cuvée Klimt, Austria ($18/bottle) – $9.00

From Wine Enthusiast‘s Joe Czerwinski:

“Pleasant spiced pear and cinnamon aromas lead into pear and sour plum flavors. Medium-bodied, with a short finish, it’s the only Austrian fizz we’ve ever tried—it makes us think the country has potential.”

The Meeker Vineyard Winemakers’ Handprint Merlot, Sonoma County, CA ($45/bottle) – $11.00

The Meeker Vineyard describes this Merlot:

“Dark fruit like currants and cherries marry on the nose with hints of toffee and caramel. The wine explodes on your palate with more cherries, and hints of the best strawberry rhubarb pie you’ve ever had. There’s no shortage of subtle, toasty oak and big, powerful tannins throughout the palate and finish of this wine.”

*NEW* Frozen Scotch Cocktail – $15.50

Scotch and Herbal Tea garnished with a Chocolate Nail

Scotch mixed with herbal tea is a unique combination, but it was unremarkable. The nail garnish is dark chocolate, and we enjoyed it better than the drink. We rate it a 4 out of 7.

L’Art de la Cuisine Française

Those of us who don’t typically enjoy brie found this pleasing. The soft bread was paired well with the cheese, which wasn’t too sharp or pungent. The presentation makes for a pretty photo, too. We rate this 5 out of 7.

The cold option is very fishy, but tasty. The biscuit pairs well with the salmon and the flavoring of the roasted red pepper dip is spicy and compliments the dish well. The hot option is a buttery, flaky French pastry with a perfectly cooked piece of salmon. It just may be the best savory new item at the Festival. We’d give the entire dish a 7 out of 7.

Molten Valrhona Chocolate Cake, Hazelnut Crunch and Mango-Raspberry Coulis

This is your average molten chocolate cake, but the crunchy top layer is sets it apart. It’s the best part of the dish.

While the mango-raspberry coulis looks pretty, it adds nothing to the dessert. We’d rate this a 4 out of 7.

Frozen French Martini – $15.25

Grey Goose Vodka ($27/bottle), Vodka, Chambord Liqueur ($28/bottle), Pineapple, Orange and Grape Juices with Lemon-Lime Foam

We expected this to be extremely sweet but it was well-balanced. This was a crowd-pleaser. The grape juice is prominent and pairs well with the Chambord. THe lemon-lime foam on top was a little flat, which was disappointing. We rate this a 6 out of 7.

*NEW* Elderflower Liqueur Cocktail – $13.25

St. Germain Liqueur ($31/bottle), Sparkling Wine and Mint

There’s a distinct lack of elderflower flavoring in the elderflower cocktail. With so many other great beverages at the France Pavilion, this one is skippable. There’s also a very good elderflower cocktail at L’Arte di Mangiare at the Italy pavilion. We rate this a 3 out of 7.

Charles Lafitte, Brut Rosé Prestige, Méthode Traditionnelle Champenoise, French Rosé Sparkling Wine ($15/bottle) – $9.75

According to Drizly, this sparkling wine has a:

“Beautiful pale pink color, with slightly salmon reflections,” “floral aromas of a spring bouquet of flowers with subtle notes of little red berries,” with a taste of “delicacy and freshness, soft and elegant notes of strawberry combined with wildflowers.”

*NEW* Pinot Noir J. de Villebois ($15/bottle) – $12.75

From Vineyard Brands:

“Youthful garnet color. The nose opens up to cherry and raspberry aromas. The palate is compellingly silky with a finish that showcases crunchy fruit. A very accessible Pinot Noir, perfect for drinking with grilled meats in the company of friends.”

Mozzarella Fritta – $8.50

Flash-Fried Breaded Fresh Mozzarella with Artist Palette Condiments

This comes on a “palette” with four condiment choices for a very cute presentation. The green sauce is pesto, while the brown is balsamic vinegar, possibly a glaze. The red sauce tasted like marinara to us. The pink sauce is an aioli.

Unfortunately, the only good thing about this dish is the presentation. The breading is poor quality and the cheese is nothing worth your time. We rate this a 1 out of 7.

Baked Stuffed-Conchiglie Pasta with Beef, Ricotta, Peas, Pomodoro and Creamy Sauce

If you’ve had pasta in red sauce at any Patina Restaurant Group restaurant, you’ll know what to expect. It’s plain and forgettable. It’s not necessarily bad, it’s just your average cheap dish. We rate it a 3 out of 7.

This is a delicious dessert. It’s rich and creamy with the perfect texture. We highly recommend this and rate it a 7 out of 7.

Peroni Pilsner (5.1% ABV) – $6.50 for 6 oz., $11 for 12 oz.

Peroni Brewery describes their beer as:

“A crisp and refreshing beer with a delicate balance of bitterness, citrus and spicy aromatic notes, combined with a fast and clean finish.”

Italian White Sangria – $12

If Sangria of this price contains more juice than wine, we would usually complain, but the wine in this drink is cheap and unpleasant. It’s supposed to have Prosecco, but there was no fizz and no taste of it. We rate this a 1 out of 7.

Italian Red Sangria – $12

Have you ever put red wine in the microwave? That’s what this is. It’s fruity, though there’s no real fruit (or ice), so it could have been good, but it was just too warm to drink. We rate this a 1 out of 7.

Italian Margarita with Tequila and Limoncello – $12

The margarita was similar to a lemon ice dessert. If there’s alcohol in here, though, you can’t taste it. We rate this a 5 out of 7.

General Tso’s Chicken Shumai – $10.75

These tremendous dumplings are sweet and spicy, and chock-full of chicken. They’re a great value for the price. We rate these a 7 out of 7.

Char Siu Pork Bun – $8.50

This, however, is not worth your time or money. It’s dry, bland, and severly lacking sauce, which might have made it palatable. We rate this a 1 out of 7.

*NEW* Sesame Balls with Red Bean Paste – $7.25

These taste authentic and the red bean paste inside is sweet. We enjoyed it with and without the sauce. It’s a good deal for the price. We rate it a 5 out of 7.

Black and White Bubble Tea (Non-Alcoholic) – $8.75

This milk tea comes back year after year for a reason — it’s fantastic. The boba pearls have a flavor like licorice to help tone down the sweetness. We rate this a 7 out of 7.

Lucky Foo Pale Ale, Lakeland, FL (6.0% ABV) – $5.50 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

According to Untappd, this is:

“An American India Pale Ale brewed with 2-Row, crystal malts and dry hopped with Simcoe hops and conditioned on lychee.”

Silk River Hard Lemonade – $13.75

with Vodka, Lavender-Coconut Syrup and Lemonade

The sugar rim makes this a too-sweet but standard lemonade. The lavender overpowers every other flavor here. We don’t recommend getting this. We rate this a 1 out of 10.

Butterfly Blue – $13.75

Butterfly Pea Flower-infused Cocktail with Vodka, Light Rum, Lychee Syrup and Magic Boba Pearls

This refreshing floral cocktail returns for another year. It’s clean, crisp, and a festival favorite. We rate this a 7 out of 7.

Red Wine-Braised Beef Short Rib – $8.75

with Parsnip Purée, Broccolini, Baby Tomatoes and Balsamic Glaze

The meat is incredibly tender and complemented well by the parsnip puree. With two pieces of the short rib and hearty sides, this makes a good dish for sharing. We rate this a 7 out of 7.

Black Forest Cake – $4.75

Chocolate Mousse with Morello Cherries and Chantilly Cream

A dome-shaped black forest cake sits on a square plate surrounded by Morello cherries and topped with a chocolate feather.

It’s not obvious, but there are cherries inside the cake as well as around the plate. The chocolate is just the right amount of sweet and far better than the cake they serve at Biergarten. The rich dark chocolate mousse balances with the cherries, and the cream is pretty flavorless. We rate this a 6 out of 7.

3 Daughters Brewing Rosé Hard Cider, St. Petersburg, FL (7.0% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

“Our Rosé Cider is light pink in color with hints of berry and citrus. It is refreshing yet crisp for the perfect Florida drink. Naturally Gluten Free.”

81Bay Brewing Rosé Blonde Ale, Tampa, FL (5.4% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

81Bay Brewing Co. on Untappd describes their Rosé Blonde Ale as being made with “strawberry and hibiscus.”

Frozen Rosé – $7.00

Frozen Rosé’ is a festival staple. It’s neither here nor there. We rate this a 4 out of 7.

Marietta Old Vine Rosé, California ($16/bottle) – $5.50

From Marietta Cellars:

“Pale in color but not in exuberance, this rosé shows bright stonefruit and lemon tart backed by palpable acidity and a long creamy mouthfeel from weekly lees stirring post fermentation.”

Pop Eats

Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese – $5.75

Tomato soup is served in a can with a special Pop Eats logo, placed on a rectangular plate next to two halves of a grilled cheese sandwich.

This is your standard grilled cheese and tomato soup. The only thing special here is that the soup comes in a cute can themed to Pop Eats. It’s more like a bisque, with a thick layer of cream on top to cut through the acidity of the tomatoes. Picky eaters or those looking for familiar comfort food will enjoy this. We rate it a 4 out of 7.

Tomato Soup with Pimento Cheese, Bacon and Fried Green Tomato Grilled Cheese – $6.50

Tomato soup in a Pop Eats can sits next to two halves of a grilled cheese sandwich on a white rectangular plate.

This is the best version of this dish they’ve had over the years. It may seem tomato heavy between the soup and the fried green tomatoes on the sandwich, but it works. The fried green tomatoes and pimento cheese elevate the dish. We rate this a 7 out of 7.

*NEW* Rock the Dots White Chocolate and Orange Mousse with Vanilla Bean Chiffon Cake – $5.25

Despite the white chocolate and vanilla bean, this is seriously citrus-forward. It’s strong enough that even if you love citrus, you may want to share this. However, it is a great dessert if you’re a fan. We rate it a 6 out of 7.

Brooklyn Brewery Pulp Art Hazy IPA, Brooklyn, NY (6.5% ABV) – $5.75 for 6 oz., $9.75 for 12 oz.

From Brooklyn Brewery:

“Just as the Pop Art movement created big, bold art for everyone to enjoy, our Pulp Art is a hazy IPA for all. This modern masterpiece is a delicious blur between beer and art, with billboard-sized notes of bright tropical fruit and a refreshingly soft finish. Pulp Art brings juicy refreshment for everyone, from haze aficionados to those just discovering the lush world of tropical hops.” The beer also has flavors of “pineapple juice, ripe mango & bright citrus pulp from Citra, Strata & Simcoe hops.”

Blanc de Bleu Cuveé Mousseux ($17/bottle) with Boba Pearls – $10.50

The best thing about this is how pretty it looks. However, it’s almost flavorless. The boba pearls add nothing and it tastes kind of cheap. We rate this a 2 out of 7.

Grilled Kebabs with Carrot-Chickpea Salad and Garlic Aïoli – $6.25

Well-seasoned thigh meat sits atop a salad with raisins, chickpeas, and shredded carrots, topped with garlic aioli. The chicken is well cooked and well spiced without bringing too much heat. The slaw is a perfect complement, balancing the spice with some sweetness.

The lamb is spicier than the chicken. Both kebabs are hearty and delicious. We rate these a 6 out of 7.

Stone-Baked Moroccan Bread – $5

with Hummus, Chermoula and Zhoug Dips

The orange zhoug sauce is tangy and spicy, while similar to a tomato sauce. The green chermoula has herbs and aioli. The creamy hummus is tangy. If you want a great hummus, go to Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, but this one is still good. We enjoyed this, but wish there was more bread to go with the dips. We rate this a 5 out of 7.

*NEW* Chocolate Cake – $5

with Pomegranate Mousse and Pomegranate Whipped Cream

The cake-to-mousse ratio is a little off, favoring the strong pomegranate over the chocolate cake — but that doesn’t detract enough to make this a bad dish. The thick chocolate cake layer inside was tasty. We rate it a 5 out of 7.

Twinings Chai Tea with Sprite and Mint (Non-Alcoholic) – $4.50

The chai tea is pleasant but it buries the Sprite taste and the carbonation. It’s not bad, but it’s plain. We rate this a 3 out of 7.

The Chai Tea Mint Mimosa was very good, made of high-quality sparkling wine with mint undertones. The most prevalent flavor is the chai, which we truly enjoyed.

Tangierine Café: Flavors of the Medina is on the western side of the Morocco Pavilion, opposite the entrance to Spice Road Table. You can find it at number 17 on the map below.

Vibrante & Vívido: Encanto Cocina

House-Made Chorizo and Potato Empanada – $6.75

with Turmeric Aïoli and Annatto Aïoli

Once again, this is one of the top savory dishes at the event. You get a large portion filled with potatoes and chorizo. The sauces add a mild kick that shouldn’t overwhelm a sensitive palate. It’s hearty and filling. We rate it a 7 out of 7.

*NEW* Passion Fruit-Filled Mango Cheesecake – $5.00

with Coconut-Pineapple Cake, Dragon Fruit Gelée and Dragon Fruit-Strawberry Sauce

This pastry has a lot of elements in play, but the textures combine so nicely. The airy mousse and delicate cake make this a light, tropical dessert. We rate it a 6 out of 7.

Coconut and Passion Fruit Smoothie (Non-Alcoholic) – $5.00

This is very basic and passion fruit forward, with coconut shavings. It’s nothing special but the souvenir cup is cute. We rate this a 4 out of 7.

Frozen Piña Colada – $14.50

If all you want is a standard piña colada, this hits the spot. It’s refreshing but nothing exemplary or innovative. We rate this a 4 out of 7.

Passion Fruit Daiquiri – $14.50

The alcohol is undetectable under the standard POG (passion fruit orange guava) flavor. It’s unremarkable. We rate this a 3 out of 7.

Orange-Lemonade Cocktail – $15.50

Three Olives Blueberry Vodka ($16/bottle), Lemonade, and Orange Juice with Cotton Candy

This is liquid sugar. The profile is orange juice-forward with a hint of blueberry from the vodka. It’s fun to watch the color change when you add the cotton candy, but it’s so sweet and there are so many good cocktails around the park with a better balance. We rate this a 3 out of 7.

Gnocchi Poutine – $10

with Red Wine-Braised Beef, Cheese Curds, Basil and Burrata

This was a disappointment. On paper, it had potential. Unfortunately, the gnocchi were salty and doughy, and the beef was standard counter service fare. The burrata and cheese curds were good, but neither were strong enough to redeem this. We rate it a 3 out of 7.

Artist Palette Jumbo Chocolate Chip Cookie – $5.50

This cookie was updated last year with higher quality icing. It’s a decent cookie but the real appeal lies in the fun. It’s served with a paintbrush so you can bring your own artistic vision to life. We rate this a 5 out of 7.

Blood Orange Cosmo: Boyd & Blair Vodka with Blood Orange, Cranberry, and Lime ($30/bottle) – $12

This is better than most premixed drinks around the parks. It’s strong, flavorful, and has a generous pour for the price, at least by EPCOT standards. We rate this a 5 out of 7.

Boulevard Brewing Co. Quirk Blueberry Lemon and Lavender Hard Seltzer, Kansas City, MO (4.2% ABV) – $12

From Boulevard Brewing Co.:

“Quirk Blueberry Lemon & Lavender blooms with a delicate arrangement of sweet blueberry juice, zippy lemon and a whisper of luxurious lavender.”

Refreshment Port is located just before the Canada Pavilion as you enter World Showcase from World Celebration. You can find it at number 22 on the map below.

Swirled Showcase

*NEW* Soft-Serve in a Waffle Cone (Cupcake) – $6.50

The cupcake soft serve is less intense than birthday cake flavors, but it’s tasty and has chunks of cake mixed in. We rate it a 6 out of 7.

Strawberry Fanta Float with Cupcake Soft-Serve – $6.75

This is even better than the soft serve on its own. The kick of Strawberry Fanta is so good that we suggest passing on the cone and getting this instead. We’d rate it a 7 out of 7.

Funnel Cake

*NEW* Crazy Chocolate Funnel Cake Sandwich – $12

Mini Funnel Cake Sandwich with Vanilla Ice Cream, Rainbow Whipped Cream, Strawberry Sauce, Powdered Sugar and Sprinkles

This may be the best funnel cake at an EPCOT festival so far. The chocolate reminds us of breakfast cereal, and it was softer than usual.

The whipped cream, strawberry sauce, and crunchy sprinkles all work well together. This is a must-get, for sure. We give it a perfect rating of 7 out of 7.

The Funnel Cake kiosk is located on World Showcase Promenade between The American Adventure and the Japan Pavilion. You can find it at number 15 on the map below.
