Many people may think the most popular ride in Disney World is over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios…but they’d be mistaken!

It makes sense — Hollywood Studios is full of popular rides with very long wait times. However, the culprit for the longest wait time is hiding over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It’s Flight of Passage in Pandora — The World of Avatar, but now we’ve got a good update to share.

The wait times have been rough during the holiday season as expected, but now that that’s over, we’re seeing a much-needed decrease in those wait times. For example, Flight of Passage wait times have decreased by 53% over the past couple of weeks! The average wait time was 170 minutes two weeks ago, but now that has dropped significantly.

Below, we will show you the average wait times from every attraction in Disney World over the past week.

Magic Kingdom

Starting in Magic Kingdom, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time of 71 minutes. Last week, the average wait time was 80 minutes, so the average has decreased since then.

Next, Peter Pan’s Flight averaged 58 minutes, Space Mountain averaged 52 minutes, Jungle Cruise averaged 42 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 37 minutes, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad averaged 36 minutes. Average wait times held Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 31 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and Enchanted Tales with Belle at 28 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 27 minutes, followed by Pirates of the Caribbean at 24 minutes.

After that, “it’s a small world” averaged 18 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini averaged 17 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant and Magic Carpets of Aladdin averaged 15 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic averaged 14 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway averaged 13 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover averaged 11 minutes, and Mad Tea Party averaged 10 minutes. 

Prince Charming Regal Carrousel averaged 8 minutes, Enchanted Tiki Room averaged 11 minutes, and other attractions like Hall of Presidents, Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, Carousel of Progress, and Liberty Square Riverboat all tied at 5-minute average wait times.

The Country Bear Jamboree averaged a 15-minute wait, and Tom Sawyer Island was a walk-on this week.

Magic Kingdom Temporarily Closes Restrooms Due to Ride Construction

EPCOT

Heading over to EPCOT, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure took the top spot for the highest average wait time with 73 minutes, which went down from last week’s 80-minute average. Then, Frozen Ever After had an average wait time of 69 minutes. This is a slight increase from last week’s 67-minute average.

Test Track had a 57-minute average wait time this week. Next up is Soarin’ at 38 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 20 minutes, Spaceship Earth and Turtle Talk with Crush at 15 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 10 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends and Living with the Land at 9 minutes, and Gran Fiesta Tour at 8 minutes.

Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China had no wait times this week.

Hollywood Studios

Slinky Dog Dash decreased this week from a 96-minute average to an 88-minute average. Rise of the Resistance is next in this park with 94 minutes, up a bit from 86 minutes last week. Note: Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster is currently closed due to its months-long closure that began on January 8th.

Other wait times in the park decreased this week, including Tower of Terror at 62 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 59 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 55 minutes, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 51 minutes.

After that, Alien Swirling Saucers averaged 29 minutes, Star Tours — The Adventure Continues averaged 12 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy averaged 12 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3D averaged 10 minutes, and Walt Disney Presents averaged 8 minutes.

Animal Kingdom

Now, let’s head over to Animal Kingdom! After reaching a 96-minute average last week, Avatar Flight of Passage went up a little bit to a 98-minute average this week.

Following that, Na’vi River Journey at 59 minutes, Expedition Everest at 32 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 30 minutes, and DINOSAUR at 21 minutes. Kali River Rapids is currently closed for refurbishment.

It’s Tough to Be a Bug averaged 11 minutes and TriceraTop Spin averaged 7 minutes. Both The Boneyard and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail were walk-ons.
