Well, it feels like we’ve been here before, huh?
The past two weeks, we’ve warned you about crowds hitting Disney World due to dance and cheer competitions happening at the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex. We’re sorry to say that you need to expect more crowds in Disney World this weekend for a DIFFERENT reason.
From February 22nd-26th, Disney World will be hosting the 2024 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, which always draws massive crowds.
Not only will it affect traffic patterns around the resort (which you’ll want to be prepared for), but since the races start so early in the morning, crowds start filling up with racers heading into the parks (and running through the parks) pretty early in the day. These crowds and higher wait times typically last all day too, so you’ll want to prepare yourself.
We highly recommend you prepare to see wait times skyrocket during this weekend, and if you’re really hoping to ride everything you can, maybe purchase Genie+ early in the day before it potentially sells out.
