Walt Disney World
Magic Kingdom
- Refurbishment of the exterior for Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe has moved to the front of the building at Magic Kingdom.
EPCOT
- Disney has updated the lineup for the Garden Rocks Concert Series, with some acts swapping dates and others being newly added.
- Preparations have begun for the 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, with the Tinker Bell topiary, Prehistoric Garden, and more going up.
- A temporary directional sign has been installed on the World Showcase bridge in EPCOT, likely ahead of a permanent sign being added.
- The first butterfly topiary has been installed for the 2024 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.
- Despite most of the scaffolding being removed from Hotel du Canada in the Canada Pavilion, work is not yet finished on the refurbishment of the building.
- A police detective from Massachusetts was arrested at EPCOT late last month after allegedly hitting a sheriff’s deputy who was investigating reports of the detective pushing a security guard.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- A “new” treat is coming to ABC Commissary to celebrate this year’s Oscars, the Toffee and Coconut Blondie.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
- Disney has updated the booking and opening schedule for the new Disney Vacation Club Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
New Merchandise
- A new Minnie Mouse Lug bag has debuted in the Italy Pavilion at EPCOT.
- To celebrate National Pizza Day, Disney has shared a preview of the new Disney Eats Pizza Collection coming later this month.
- A new Columbia jacket featuring art from the “Mickey’s Garden” collection is now available at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resort.
Other Walt Disney World News
- Walt Disney World has extended theme park hours for Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in late February and early March 2024.
- runDisney has released course maps and more details about the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, which takes place from February 22-25, 2024.
Disneyland Resort
- The winners of Super Bowl LVIII will be heading to Disneyland Resort on Monday, February 12 following the big game.
- The reopening date for Astro Orbitor at Disneyland Park has been pushed back as refurbishment continues on the attraction.
- Three new seasonal items are on the menu at Golden Horseshoe, and we were able to try them all for a review.
- Crew members were spotted working on and inside the rockwork of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Disneyland Park.

- The new “A Million Splashes of Colour” parade and show debuted a day early at Disneyland Paris.

- shopDisney has officially announced that it will be dropping its current branding and reverting back to the Disney Store name.
