Disney, Fox Corp., and Warner Bros. Discovery will launch a new joint streaming venture bundling all of their sports channels together.
This will put Disney’s ESPN, Warner Bros.’ TNT, and Fox Sports all in one app. Each company will own one-third of the app, which will have a new brand and an independent management team, according to Variety.
The app is scheduled to launch this fall.
This news comes a week after Nelson Peltz suggested Disney team up with Netflix for sports streaming. In the past, Disney CEO Bob Iger indicated he was looking for a partner for ESPN, which saw a decrease in profits.
