Disneyland Resort introduced their new email notification option for guests in the virtual queue to purchase Disneyland After Dark tickets with the Magic Key pre-sale for Star Wars Nite.
Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite Ticket Queue
Tickets for Star Wars Nite went on sale Tuesday morning for Inspire Key holders.
After joining the virtual queue to purchase tickets, guests will see confirmation that they are in the queue. They can stay on that page as usual until it is their turn to purchase tickets.
For the first time, guests can choose to instead be notified by email when it is their turn to return to the virtual waiting room and enter the online ticket store. Guests just need to put in their email address. They then don’t have to keep the webpage open.
After entering their email address, guests will receive an email confirming their place in the queue is reserved. This email includes a link that lets you check your place in the queue. This link can be reused multiple times.
Guests will then receive a second email when it’s their time to purchase tickets. They will have 10 minutes to use the link in that email to return to the website. The link will be invalid after the 10 minutes is up or after it has been used, whether tickets have been purchased or not. If guests do not use the virtual queue link, they will lose their place and have to re-join the queue from the “back of the line.”
Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite tickets go on sale to the general public no earlier than 9 a.m. PT on Friday, February 23.
