Disney Experiences Chairman Josh D’Amaro was at Magic Kingdom this morning filming in front of the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure construction site.

Reddit user CamG__ shared a picture of D’Amaro at the attraction on r/DisneyWorld. D’Amaro was facing Adventureland with the ride and construction walls behind him.
It’s possible D’Amaro was filming a Tiana’s Bayou Adventure announcement — maybe about the ride’s Walt Disney World opening date. On Mardi Gras, Disney announced the new attraction would open this summer at Magic Kingdom and later in 2024 at Disneyland.
They also revealed one of the ride’s Tiana audio-animatronics. We’ve seen crews testing water and log ride vehicles at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.
The ride replaces Splash Mountain, which closed in January 2023. The same ride track will remain but set decorations will be completely changed. The “mountain” has been covered in flowers to become a salt dome in Louisiana, the home of the Tiana’s Foods co-op. During the ride, guests accompany Tiana into the bayou to search for a special ingredient for her Mardi Gras celebration.
