What’s BRUNCHCOT serving up this year? The lovely Avocado Toast is back, along with the Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites. A new dish is also up for grabs: a Biscuit and Gravy (featuring ingredients by IMPOSSIBLE).
Brunchcot Menu
The colorful Froot Loops Shake returns once again! Of-age guests who are in search of a little caffeine can try the Coffee Cocktail, or opt for a Peach Bellini if you’ve already had your cup o’ joe for the day.
So, does BRUNCHCOT impress this year? Let’s find out…
Eats
The always Insta-worthy Avocado Toast is $6 and is topped with marinated tomatoes and plant-based cheese crumbles, all served up on toasted ciabatta. This dish is basically a Flower and Garden Festival CLASSIC at this point, and we keep coming back for more.
Avocado Toast
This plant-based dish is also eligible for a stamp if you’re attempting to complete the Garden Graze food crawl! It tastes like a simple, classic avocado toast you can find at many breakfast restaurants, with all the salty, savory flavors we know and love. It’s a litttttle bland, but overall, we still really enjoy this dish. The tomatoes — despite the claim that they are marinated — didn’t have much flavor, but the bread was the star of the show here. The toast itself was crunchy AND chewy, which we really appreciated. The only thing we could see improving this dish would be a little drizzle of balsamic, but overall, this is a returning favorite for us!
Avocado Toast
Now, this one’s unexpected… the new Biscuit and Gravy dish ($6.75) probably isn’t what comes to mind when you think of the classic dish.
Brunchcot is back!
Avocado Toast (Plant-based) () Biscuit and Gravy with IMPOSSIBLE Chicken Fried Steak and IMPOSSIBLE Sausage Gravy (New) Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites Froot Loops Shake Coffee Cocktail: Joffrey’s Coffee w/ vanilla vodka, Kahlúa Rum and Coffee Liqueur pic.twitter.com/t6E3dLRvvk
Why? Well, this take features IMPOSSIBLE Chicken Fried Steak and IMPOSSIBLE Sausage Gravy. Hmmm…we’re intrigued. Surprisingly, we found this dish to be a winner! The biscuit and gravy combination was really delicious, and it tasted like real sausage and real sausage gravy. There was lots of pepper in both the gravy and the meat, which gave this a nice jolt of flavor. The Chicken Fried IMPOSSIBLE patty was shockingly convincing, too! In fact, we think even people who eat meat will like this snack. The biscuit is nice, light, and flaky and makes a good base to soak up the gravy. At the end of the day, though, the most noteworthy part of this dish is the fact that it’s made without real meat. Give it a try if you’re feeling adventurous!
How about some Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites while we’re at it? This dish is $5.
Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites
The Cinnamon Roll Bites comes complete with cream cheese frosting and candied bacon (HELLO!). For the past two years, we’ve enjoyed this tasty treat as the perfect brunch-meets-dessert. But what about this year?
Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites
Without question, we’re here to report that these are a TOTAL contender for the best of the fest this year. The value is surprisingly good here — five big cinnamon roll bites for five dollars! Each Cinnamon Roll Bite is generously coated with cinnamon sugar and sweet cream cheese frosting. Need we say more? There’s also lots of candied bacon on top, which adds a salty, savory kick to cut through the sweet, sugary flavors. The cinnamon filling is HEAVEN! It’s creamy, gooey, and buttery. For five dollars, this is a no-brainer. GET IT.
Fried Cinnamon Roll Bites
Of course, it’s just not brunch without a few fun sips to go along with everything…
Drinks
Channel your inner child with the returning Froot Loops Shake! Surprise! This shake is a different color this year, but the flavor remains the same. It’s got that classic, milky Froot Loop flavor we know and love!
Froot Loops Shake
This is a great one to grab for your own kiddo (it’s non-alcoholic, after all!), and be sure to steal a sip for yourself. This drink is $5.
Adults can pick up a traditional Peach Bellini for $11.50.
Peach Bellini
You can never really go wrong with a Bellini, but it’s still worth mentioning that this drink is pretty basic and even a bit light on the peach, with an emphasis on sparkling wine. Obviously, there are more unique beverages you can pick up not just at BRUNCHOT, but all over the Festival.
Need something for an extra boost? The Coffee Cocktail ($11) might be what you’re looking for.
Coffee Cocktail
It features Joffrey’s Coffee with milk, vanilla vodka, and Kahlúa Rum AND Coffee Liqueur for a pick-me-up any time of day. This one doesn’t have an overpowering alcohol flavor; the main flavor is that rich coffee, along with a hint of sweet Kahlúa. Does this mean it’s a weak drink? Or just suspiciously easy to drink? We’ll let you be the judge.

This spot is serving up just ONE item this year for the Festival and it’s a boozy option, so let’s check it out!
Menu
Over at the Canada Popcorn Cart, you’ll find just one drink on the menu for the Festival.
Canada Popcorn Cart Menu
Of course, you can still get that famous maple popcorn here as well.
Drinks
We ordered the Peach Smash which is made with Canadian Club Whiskey with lemon, peach purée, and ginger. You can grab this bad boy for $11.50.
Peach Smash
Despite being called a Peach Smash, the first flavor we were hit with was actually ginger! We didn’t mind, but it’s not what we were expecting with this drink. The peach flavor was a bit more subtle and mostly settled at the bottom of the cocktail, so you might want to give it a good stir. The whiskey wasn’t overpowering, so if that’s a concern you might be okay with this one. It was light and crisp but not heavy like a beer might be. We really enjoyed this!
OVERALL
If you’re in the mood for a new drink at the Festival, then perhaps you should stop by this popcorn cart and check it out! We thought it was pretty refreshing and would be great for walking around EPCOT on a hot day!

We’re talking about the Northern Bloom booth — one of the Outdoor Kitchens (also known as Food Booths) at the park’s springtime celebration! Stop here while enjoying the Festival’s famous Disney topiaries, garden displays, and entertainment. Join us as we review Northern Bloom to see if it lives up to its reputation as a deserving fan-favorite booth once again this year.
First up, we grabbed the Beef Tenderloin Tips with mushroom bordelaise sauce, whipped potatoes, and garden vegetables. This is a returning item from last year, but to be honest, we weren’t big fans. One year, this dish was very hearty and savory in the past, and we really liked it! When it reappeared last year, we thought they were a hit yet again — though we do think the whipped potatoes could have been a bit saltier (that could have just been us, though!). So, is the third year the charm here?
Beef Tenderloin Tips
Turns out…it is! We really enjoyed theBeef Tenderloin Tips. They pull apart really easily, just like a pot roast would. This dish has a lot of flavor, and we also thought the meat had a nice, tangy flavor to it. The mashed potatoes had a lot of butter! We could even taste the buttery goodness underneath all of the sauce.
Digging into the Beef Tenderloin Tips!
You can grab this tasty dish for $7.25.
Next up, we grabbed the other returning item at this booth, the Seared Scallops. These are served with French Green Beans, marble potatoes, and bacon vinaigrette! Yep, you read that right, BACON vinaigrette!
Seared Scallop
The seared scallops were great as well! They were really buttery and the bacon vinaigrette came through a lot. Unfortunately, we only got one scallop (though the picture showed two) so we were disappointed in that. This was probably just a first-day-of-the-festival mishap.
Our lone scallop, but let’s give it a try!
Grab the Seared Scallopsfor $7.75.
And finally, we grabbed the other returning item at this booth, the Chocolate Maple Whisky Cake. This is a rich chocolate cake with maple and whisky sauce, and we are excited to see how it measures up this year!
Chocolate Maple Whisky Cake
LOVE! The Chocolate Maple Whisky Cake was wonderful! Definitely a best of the fest! It is gooey, decadent, and chocolatey. The cake is moist and easy to cut into. It is all the best parts of dessert, and we love it! This cake is also a great option for kids, and we think they will love it too!
That ooey gooey goodness!
Grab the Chocolate Maple Whisky Cakefor $4.50.
And to go along with your dishes…
Drinks
In terms of drinks on this menu, we got the Beer Flight. Why just try one beer when you can try three? The Collective Arts Brewing Beyond Reason Micro Pale Ale and the Collective Arts Brewing Grapefruit Lime Sour are new beer options this year. And returning for a repeat appearance this year is the Glutenberg Blonde Ale.
Northern Bloom Beer Flight
You can grab this flight for $10.25.
Collective Arts Brewing Grapefruit Lime Sour
The Collective Arts Brewing Grapefruit Lime Sour was tasty! We would describe it more as a hard cider, but we did enjoy this one!
Glutenberg Blonde Ale
The Glutenberg Blonde Ale was not one of our favorites, mostly because there wasn’t anything too special about it. It just tasted like a blonde beer, so we weren’t super impressed with it.
Collective Arts Brewing Beyond Reason Micro Pale Ale
Next up is the Collective Arts Brewing Beyond Reason Micro Pale Ale — this ale has a little bit of flavor to it but overall, it fell flat for us as well.
And finally, the fruity wine, the Florida Orange Groves Sparkling Blackberry Wine. This wine could be a bright and crisp delight, or could be a fruit-flavored cough syrup in disguise. So, which side of the spectrum does this wine lean toward?
Florida Orange Groves Sparkling Blackberry Wine
The Florida Orange Groves Sparkling Blackberry Wine is a nice, sweet blackberry wine. The wine itself is not super heavy on the alcohol and it is very palatable. We think this would be a great wine for walking around the World Showcase and sipping on!
You can grab it for $12.00.
Overall
Overall, we thought this booth had some really great dishes. The Chocolate Maple Whisky Cake is a must-get and one of the best dishes of the festival! We also recommend the Beef Tenderloin Tips and Seared Scallops, although we were disappointed that we only received one scallop. We did not feel like the beer flight was anything special, but if you are a fan of the types of beers in the flight, you would really like this!

Menu
At Swirled Showcase, practically everything is new because the booth is new to this Festival!
2024 Swirled Showcase Menu
This booth is full of new items, and we can’t wait to try everything!
Are you ready to dig in? Our reporter went back FOUR TIMES to grab all of these new items so that we could try them all without them melting. Let’s hope they’re worth the extra steps!
Eats
First up, we’re grabbing what might be the headliner of this booth, the Liquid Nitro Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake. This Fro-Zone style chilled cheesecake comes with fresh honey, granulated honey, honey mead blueberry compote Presented by National Honey Board. You can get it for $5.25.
Liquid Nitro Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake
The first thing we noticed about this dish was the fact that it had a really interesting crystalized thing going on up top. Like, a crystalized sugar coating! Underneath that, there was the cheesecake, and then at the bottom, you have a thicker bit of cheesecake that also sort of feels crystalized. We LOVE this dish because of all of those flavors and textures.
Over at Swirled Showcase, you can find a number of treats including, this Liquid Nitro Honey-Mascarpone Cheesecake!

Next up, a comfort food classic, the Ice Cream Float for $6.75. This is perfect for a hot day or if you just wanna reminisce about the days of Sock Hops, Sadie Hawkins Dances, and saddle shoes. The Ice Cream Float is Vanilla Soft-serve and Barq’s Red Creme Soda.
Ice Cream Float: Vanilla Soft-serve and Barq’s Red Creme Soda
Trying this float was a surreal experience. It was everything you could want in an ice cream float. The vanilla and cream soda combination elevated the float to become the epitome of frozen deliciousness. Plus, you can sip it OR eat it with a spoon. It’s PHENOMENAL. Oh my goodness. Best of the fest.
Looking for something fruity and refreshing and delightfully dairy-free? Then try the Strawberry Basil Sorbet for $12.50.
Strawberry Basil Sorbet
This tastes like someone melted down a popsicle at one of the outdoor vending carts and served it as an ice cream. It’s delicious, refreshing, and a winner if you love strawberry. We think that lots of folks could enjoy this one.
Okay. For our next two items, we’re calling all the PB&J lovers out there! Swirled Showcase specializes in soft-serve ice cream, and at this festival, there are THREE to choose from: Vanilla, Peanut Butter, and Grape Jelly. Grab your favorite, or be daring and get two of them swirled! Since we pretty much think peanut butter goes with anything, we love the idea of a PB&J swirl, and would never turn down a PB&Vanilla swirl! You can grab them each for $6.50.
We tried the Peanut Butter one, and all we have to say is that if you’re a peanut butter fan, you NEED to get this. It’s like licking cold peanut butter from a spoon. It’s so creamy, and delicious, and peanut buttery. We totally wanna try this swirled with the grape jelly one!
Peanut Butter Soft-serve
And we also tried the Grape Jelly one! It’s DELICIOUS. It was packed with flavor and had a bit of a tartness to it. We absolutely loved it.
Grape Jelly Soft-serve
And to go along with your dishes…
Drinks
You thought we were done, didn’t you? Oh, no! We still need to try all of these tasty libations!
We’re starting out with the Vanilla Soft-serve with Cantaloupe Liqueur. It’s a float and a cocktail and you can grab it for just $12.50.
Vanilla Soft-serve with Cantaloupe Liqueur
This tastes a LOT like the ice cream martini in the France Pavilion. It’s cantaloupe liqueur and vanilla ice cream. It’s actually quite yummy. The flavors work well together, but we felt that it was a bit lazy. It’s just liquor and ice cream. Disney could have definitely taken this one up a notch, but it was refreshing overall.
If floats aren’t your thing, you can also get the Boulevard Brewing Co. Quirk Strawberry Banana Whip Hard Seltzer for $12. This is a carry-over from Festival of the Arts, so we didn’t grab it this go around. However, we did have the Strawberry Basil Sorbet with Hard Seltzer.
Strawberry Basil Sorbet with Hard Seltzer
If you’re looking for a dairy-free float option with a little maturity to it, this might just be for you! You can grab this treat for $12. It’s fine. It’s the seltzer version of the melted down fruit bar we mentioned earlier. Nothing to write home about, but still a solid option if you love strawberry!
OVERALL
All in all, this is a GREAT option if you love ice cream and all things SWEET. Everything we had here was super refreshing, super light, and we’d recommend that you try everything here. We really hope this booth sticks around, as the ice cream options are perfect for those super warm days in late spring!

The limited-time run of Soarin’ Over California has ended at EPCOT and Soarin’ Around the World has returned.
Soarin’ Around the World Returns
Soarin’ Over California returned to EPCOT for the first time since its 2016 closure in September 2023, as part of the 100 Years of Wonder celebration. The California version stuck around into the new year, although Disney had indicated Disney100 offerings would end in December.
Soarin’ Around the World is back, as indicated by signs at the attraction. Watch our video below from the debut of the Around the World version seven years ago.
Soarin’ Over California has also returned to its original Disney California Adventure location for limited engagements over the years, but this was the first time it returned to EPCOT. The original ride opened with Disney California Adventure in 2001. It opened in The Land Pavilion of EPCOT in 2005.
We expect the finale of the EPCOT version to be updated at some point following significant changes to the center of EPCOT. It currently shows Spaceship Earth with the old Future World area that has since become World Celebration. But CommuniCore Hall and Plaza in World Celebration are not yet complete, so new footage has not yet been incorporated.
