EPCOT is one of our favorite Disney World parks to spend time in.
EPCOT
There are so many incredible pavilions to explore, foods to eat, shows to see, and of course — rides to ride! But, not every day in EPCOT can be perfect, and folks got to experience that firsthand when a ride was evacuated due to an emergency recently.
Frozen Ever After was evacuated due to an emergency in the building on February 29th. Cast Members were stationed out front to advise folks they’d have to come back later if they wanted to ride. They were also providing experience redemption passes (basically rain checks) for people with Lightning Lanes.
Evacuated
But, it seems like whatever the emergency was got cleared up pretty quickly as wait times started showing not too long after we stopped by.
Frozen Ever After
In situations like this, it’s always important to remember to listen to Cast Members as they’re trained to keep everyone safe and know just what to do if an emergency arises.
On the flip side, if a ride you were planning on going on is suddenly closed, don’t worry — chances are it’ll be back up and running soon! And, if you purchased a Lightning Lane but a ride is down, stop by Guest Relations and they can usually help you out.

Getting to live near Disney World and going to the parks every day is a dream come true for some.
Disney World entrance sign
What if you could live close to Disney World AND live in a multi-MILLION dollar mansion? If you have $13.9 million burning a hole in your pocket (don’t we all ), this home might be just for you! And if you’re like us, maybe you just want a peek inside because who DOESN’T want to see inside a gigantic mansion near Disney World?!
In Windermere, FL, (about 10 miles from Disney World) lies a 14,435-square-foot estate that could be yours for a big price tag. This house is a Mediterranean-style home that sits on a 1.6-acre lot. Not only is this house huge, but it also is surrounded by a lake!
Let’s take a look inside, starting with this incredible grand entrance! We would definitely feel like a Disney princess walking down those stairs. Maybe that table can be moved for a Beauty and the Beast-style ballroom moment??
In addition to the house, the estate also has a guest house, a pool, a boat house, a preparation kitchen, and a gourmet-style kitchen. Talk about living in style!

You’ll find a couple new items at this booth this year including an Olive Oil Cake and the boozy Huckleberry Citrus Cooler!
2024 booth
We ordered the Carbonara Garlic Mac & Cheese featuring Nueske’s Peppered Bacon, the Olive Oil Cake, and the Huckleberry-Citrus Cooler. This looks like quite the spread! We can’t wait to dig in.
Full Spread 2024
Both the drink and cake are new this year, but the mac and cheese is a returning favorite!
If you’re…nuts about cheese this is your time to shine. Mac and cheese, a Snickers macaron, and even a PB&J whiskey shake are ready to tempt your taste buds this year.
2024 Menu
We grabbed all three items from the booth, including the returning Mickey-shaped Macaron made with SNICKERS bar pieces. The brand-new Big Bad BBQ Pulled Pork Mac & Cheese is topped with crispy dill pickle onions, while the other new item, the PB&J Whiskey Shake, is garnished with a raspberry.
Full Spread 2024
Entree, dessert, and a drink? This feels like a full meal right here!

So, as you may know, Kilimanjaro Safaris in Disney’s Animal Kingdom generally closes earlier than the park does. That’s because the ride closes before sunset because it gets too dark. Now, this hasn’t ALWAYS been the case and, at one point, you could take a safari at night, but over the past few years, Disney has decided it’s best for the animals, Cast Members, and visitors this way.
Giraffe during Kilimanjaro Safaris
Well, Daylight Saving Time starts on March 10th, which means we’ve been expecting the hours for Kilimanjaro Safaris to change after that since it will be getting darker later. We checked on the Disney World website and saw that the ride closes at 5:45PM on March 9th and then closes later, at 6:45PM on March 10th.
However, the hours seem to change again later. On March 17th, the ride closes at 6PM. We’re not entirely sure what’s up with that, but we wanted to give you a heads up, just in case.
Now, these hours COULD change before then. We recommend checking those hours before you head to the park so you can make sure you get to the ride (if it’s a priority) before it closes. You can check hours on the Disney World website or through the My Disney Experience app.
Zebra!
This is a ride that we will ALWAYS recommend in Animal Kingdom, and the beauty of it is that it’s never the same twice because you NEVER know what the animals are going to do. You’ll get to see animals in a habitat as close to their natural habitats as possible while getting some interesting details about their lives on the savannah.

Disney has shared their first image for “TRON: Ares,” the third film in the series that began production in January of this year.
TRON: Ares
The image features an unknown character in a black suit with red lights. The character may be Jared Leto’s titular Ares, a program “who is sent from the digital world into the real world on a dangerous mission, marking humankind’s first encounter with A.I. beings.” (via Deadline)
“TRON: Ares” is directed by Joachim Rønning (“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales,” “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil”) from a script by Jesse Wigutow and Jack Thorne. Russell Allen is executive producing. Leto, Sean Bailey, Jeffrey Silver, Justin Springer, Emma Ludbrook, and Steven Lisberger are producing.
I’m excited to be part of the TRON franchise and bring this new film to fans around the world. ‘TRON: Ares’ builds upon the legacy of cutting-edge design, technology and storytelling. Now more than ever, it feels like the right time to return to the Grid.
