It looks like the Disney World water parks may be a bit more popular come 2025 with the new ticket offer that Disney has announced!

Since many of us will likely be going to a Disney World water park for the first time or spending more time there than ever before, we thought we’d create a packing list for you all!

Waterproof Pouches for Your Phone

These pouches come in a pack of 3 and can fit an iPhone or Android. These are a big larger than a typical pouch, which is nice so you don’t have to worry if you phone is goin go fit. These also remain very secure because the hook is nice and thick. This is great if you want to have your phone in the wave pool or the lazy river!

Waterproof Phone Case

If you want double protection or don’t want a to do the lanyard option, a waterproof phone case is probably you answer. This case will protect not only your phone but your camera as well so you can take loads of fun underwater pics with your family.

Waterproof Fanny Pack

Another great waterproof option is a fanny pack. This way you can have your phone or whatever else you need around the parks and don’t have to worry if you get splashed by some water!

Wet Bag 

A wet bag is a great option for when you are packing up to leave and want to get out of those wet clothes. Everyone can throw their wet swimsuits in this bag and won’t have to worry about everything else in the bag getting soaked.

You’re going to need something to carry all of your water park essentials in and this trendy bag is great for just that. There’s a lot of space and they come in fun trendy colors. It’s also super durable!

Staying hydrated in very important, especially in the Florida heat. We love the Owala bottles because they are stainless steel and keep things cool but they also don’t take up too much space and can fit in the side pocket of a backpack.

Cooler Bag

Want to pack your own lunch and drinks? The easiest way to do this is with a cooler backpack. This is perfect for not only the water parks but the other Disney World parks as well! And yes, you can bring food and drinks to Disney World! Many people don’t know that but it’s totally allowed!

Water Shoes

Want to protect your feet from the heat of the concrete? Aqua socks or water shoes are the easiest way to do just that! And these are super fun since they look like Minnie Mouse.

If you’re hoping to stay in an updated hotel room on your next Disney World trip, then 2024 is your year!

Currently, the Grand Floridian Resort, BoardWalk Inn, and Polynesian Village Resort are all getting major updates. But they aren’t the only ones! The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground are getting a complete overhaul, and if you’re interested in staying at one of the renovated properties, bookings open SOON.

Back in April 2023, Disney announced the updated cabins, noting that there would be over 350 refreshed cabins to replace the existing ones at the resort. These new cabins will be the latest Disney Vacation Club properties in Disney World.

The original concept art featured sleek, modern cabins, which Disney explained are “inspired by the resort’s idyllic setting, while also paying homage to the resort’s unique culture and heritage through the magic of Disney storytelling.” The cabins will sleep up to six adults and feature a bedroom, bathroom, living room, full kitchen, and private patio.

Starting on February 27th, 2024, sales will open for the cabins for those who aren’t currently Disney Vacation Club (DVC) members! This means that if you’re looking to buy a DVC contract with Fort Wilderness as your home resort, you’ll be able to do that.

Beginning on March 12th, new DVC members whose home resort is The Cabins can begin booking online or with Member Services. On April 23rd, ALL members can begin booking stays!

Disney World Annual Passholders can start booking reservations on March 20th. Finally, on March 21st ALL Disney World visitors can make reservations for The Cabins. These reservations can be made online or by calling (407) 934-7639.

We just can’t resist watching Bluey.

The Australian TV show is technically meant for children, but its popularity is prevalent among adults and teens as well. If you love Bluey as much as we do and constantly find yourself rewatching the series on Disney+, we have some BIG news for you!

NEW Bluey episodes are coming SOON to Disney+! Yep, “Ghostbasket” will premiere on Sunday, April 7th while “The Sign” will premiere on Sunday, April 14th on Disney+, Disney Channel, and Disney Junior.

“Ghostbasket” will see the return of the Grannies — Janet and Rita — played by Bluey and Bingo. BUT. That’s not the coolest part. The coolest part comes a week later, when “The Sign” debuts.

“The Sign” is the longest episode of Bluey EVER, with a runtime of just over 28 minutes. Most Bluey episodes are only nine minutes long, so that’s over TRIPLE a normal episode.

Isabela from “Encanto” made her live meet and greet debut during this weekend’s Disney Princess Half Marathon at Walt Disney World. She appeared alongside her younger sister, Mirabel, who also appeared at runDisney races before her permanent meet-and-greet opened at Magic Kingdom last fall.

Mirabel and Isabela were on a platform with cacti, a donkey, and other themed props. Runners could stop and take a distanced photo from the ground in front of the platform but there was not a PhotoPass photographer stationed with the sisters.

Due to the chilly morning weather, both were wearing themed ponchos over their standard outfits. Isabela was in her purple floral dress as it appears for most of “Encanto,” with a lilac poncho.

Isabela has appeared in live-action during Disney On Ice but this is her first Disney Parks meet and greet appearance.

360degreesofdisney also shared a video of the sisters. Instagram user @thatartmom commented that the Cast Member friend of Isabela has “been vouching for this since the movie came out[.]”

In “Encanto,” Isabela Madrigal has the power to create and control plants. She’s voiced by Diane Guerrero and sings “What Else Can I Do?” along with Mirabel (voiced by Stephanie Beatriz) when she realizes she can branch out and make imperfect creations.

Disneyland Resort has reportedly changed which attractions are available with a multiple experience pass, which is issued to guests when a ride they reserved Lightning Lane access for breaks down.

Disneyland Multiple Experience Pass Update

TikTok user The Trev Production (Trevin) alerted WDWNT to the change. On a recent trip, their friend had purchased Genie+ and reserved Lightning Lane access for Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin. When the ride broke down before the friend could ride it, they received a multiple experience pass. Guests can view these passes in the Disneyland app, just like a Lightning Lane.

The guest tried to use the pass to skip the line at Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage and Alice in Wonderland, but the pass didn’t work. Neither attraction offers Lightning Lane but, previously, a multiple experience pass could still be used at rides that don’t have Lightning Lane. Cast Members at both rides were reportedly confused about the pass not working.

Trevin shared in the above TikTok video a screen recording of a multiple experience pass’s eligible attractions in February 2024, comparing it to the eligible attractions in May 2023, and noted rides without Lightning Lane are no longer listed as eligible.

When Trevin contacted Disneyland customer service through online chat, a Cast Member said multiple experience passes that were issued for a canceled Lightning Lane “cannot be used for attractions without Lightning Lane.”

Tiktok user @edgarish commented on The Trev Production’s video, “I went a month ago and was able to use the multiple experience pass on the Ferris wheel in cal adventure” — referring to Pixar Pal-A-Round, which does not offer Lightning Lane, indicating this was a very recent change.

User @Weasel101, on the other hand, said they had the same issue as Trevin’s friend in December 2023.

It’s possible this multiple experience pass update is being tested or is based on different factors like how busy the park is. Stay tuned to WDWNT for more updates as we continue to investigate.
