The parade ran on the regular parade Disneyland Park route from “it’s a small world” down Main Street, U.S.A. Cast Members carried a banner reading “Disneyland Resort Welcomes Super Bowl LVIII Champions.”
Dancers were dressed as cheerleaders with red and gold pom-poms and flags — the colors of the Chiefs.
Donald, Goofy, and Pluto also appeared in the parade.
Mahomes, Mickey, and Minnie were on a greeting float decorated with red and gold balloons and Kansas City Chiefs signs.
The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in a game that ran overtime. Mahomes was named MVP for the third time, having previously led the Kansas City Chiefs to victory in 2020 and 2023.
Mahomes appeared in this year’s “Going to Disney” commercial with his family. The commercial has been a Super Bowl tradition since 1987. Mahomes previously appeared in a Walt Disney World parade for the 2020 Super Bowl and a Disneyland parade for the 2023 Super Bowl.
