REVIEW: There’s a CHEAPER Version of This $12 EPCOT Treat Just a Skyliner Ride Away!

Looking for something fruity and sweet at EPCOT’s 2024 Flower & Garden Festival?

Well, you’ll find plenty of options all around EPCOT to satisfy that craving. But right now, we’re heading over to a favorite spot that never fails to impress us! We’re talking about the Funnel Cake booth — one of the Outdoor Kitchens (also known as Food Booths) at the park’s springtime celebration! Stop here while enjoying the Festival’s famous Disney topiaries, garden displays, and entertainment. Join us as we review Pineapple Promenade to see if it lives up to its reputation as a deserving fan-favorite booth once again this year!

At Funnel Cake, they do one thing, and they do it really well — funnel cakes. (Who woulda thunk it?)

Not a big or broad menu, but we like what they’ve got!

Eats

So, we’re not gonna build up the suspense. We’re digging right in! We grabbed the funnel cake with powdered sugar, vanilla ice cream, strawberries, whipped cream, strawberry glaze, and strawberry crunch.

You can grab this tasty dessert for $12. What did we think?

Well, it’s a nice, fluffy, crispy funnel cake. The tart flavor from the fresh strawberries really compliments the sweetness of the funnel cake and vanilla ice cream.

We also really loved the texture that the sugar crystals on top added to the dish! This is good, don’t get us wrong, but we’re not sure it’s worth the $12 when you could get a cheaper one from Disney’s Hollywood Studios. (BTW, you can take the Skyliner from EPCOT to Hollywood Studios and get there pronto.)

OVERALL

While we enjoyed the funnel cake, we’d probably skip it. It’s nothing special. You can get a similar one in Hollywood Studios, OR you could literally whip it up at home with a batter recipe from Pinterest and a squirty bottle from Dollar Tree. Yep, we’re gonna save our cash. However, we tried so many AWESOME treats that we do recommend you spend your money on. Check out all of our reviews below!
