You don’t see this every day in EPCOT!
Cosmic Rewind
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is a new-ish roller coaster in EPCOT. The coaster opened in May 2022, and it’s been SUPER popular ever since. In fact, there’s almost never a standby line available for this ride — You have to either join the virtual queue or purchase an Individual Lightning Lane. However, that rule goes out the window during EPCOT After Hours events!
We’re at the FIRST EPCOT After Hours event in 2024 tonight, and we’re taking you with us to check everything out. This year, EPCOT has After Hours events on select nights from February 2nd through July 18th.
EPCOT After Hours are BACK for 2024!
One of the best parts about these events is that you can get on some popular rides with little to no wait! Since the events have a limited capacity, wait times are super low.
Test Track
Cosmic Rewind is usually only accessible via the virtual queue or with the purchase of an Individual Lightning Lane, but tonight, when we got to this ride, we saw that it had a standby line instead!
Standby line
When we got there at 11PM, the line was SUPER short. The sign said “20 minutes,” but we walked all the way through to the preshow in 8 minutes. EIGHT. MINUTES.

We normally have to wait a LOT longer, so this is a HUGE perk to the EPCOT After Hours event!

The EPCOT After Hours events in 2024 take place from 10PM to 1AM. However, with your ticket, you can get in as early as 7PM! Here’s a full list of the dates and prices for the EPCOT After Hours events in 2024:
