This morning, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon customers have been experiencing widespread outages across the country, and it’s affecting some guests’ visits to Walt Disney World.
Widespread Cellular Outages Affecting Walt Disney World Guests
According to NBC News, AT&T’s network has suffered the greatest outage with cellular service and internet down, though some Verizon and T-Mobile users have also reported outages. One of our reporters, who is on T-Mobile, also reported difficulties accessing My Disney Experience both using and not using Wi-Fi.
Over 32,000 AT&T outages were reported by customers at about 4 a.m. this morning and then dipped before spiking to over 50,000 at 7 a.m. Most issues have been reported in Houston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. Just over 1,100 T-Mobile and 3,000 Verizon outages were reported as of 7 a.m.
Affected guests visiting Walt Disney World today should utilize Disney’s complimentary resort-wide Wi-Fi if available; AT&T is Walt Disney World’s official wireless sponsor.
When connected to the resort network, guests can once again browse the internet, access messaging, and utilize apps like My Disney Experience.
AT&T shared a comment on the issue, stating:
Some of our customers are experiencing wireless service interruptions this morning.
We are working urgently to restore service to them. We encourage the use of Wi-Fi calling until serivce is restored.

T-Mobile has said early today that their network didn’t suffer an outage and is operating as normal.
