Maybe you’re thinking about becoming a member (or maybe you’re just interested in renting DVC points for a Disney World stay). We’re sure you know all about the DVC Welcome Home Centers in Disney World, but now you have a NEW DVC Welcome Home Center to visit in Disney World, and this one is SUPER interactive!
On March 2nd, Disney announced the opening of a new Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center called Gateway to Discovery. You’ll find it in Disney Springs, and it will serve “as an interactive portal to discover new vacation destinations with Disney Vacation Club.”

Disney also promised that a space on the second floor is opening soon for DVC members and guests to gather. How fun! We keep an eye out for more information, but so far, all we know is that it will open “later this spring.”

In the meantime, you’ll soon have some new DVC properties to choose from in Disney World. The Cabins at Fort Wilderness are set to open this summer — bookings are now available for select DVC members. Not only that, but new DVC villas are also currently under construction at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort — those are expected to open later this year (although we don’t have an actual opening date yet).

Oh, and don’t forget — Disney announced a NEW Disney Vacation Club lounge is coming to Disney World in 2024. We’re still waiting on more details (like a location and opening date), but we can’t wait to have a NEW spot to relax in the parks! We’ll keep an eye out for more Disney news, so stay tuned to DFB for more.
