OK, Disney fans, we need your opinion. Here in the U.S., there are two versions of a classic Disney ride called Soarin’. First, there was Soarin’ Over California, which transports riders to sunny California. (We can think of two words to describe this version of the ride: Orange. Groves. If you know, you know.) Then, Disney debuted Soarin’ Around the World, and, as the name implies, you get a birds-eye view of some famous places all over the WORLD! If you’ve been on both versions of the ride, which one is your favorite?

So, why are we talking about Soarin’? Well, every once in a while, Disney CHANGES the ride experience by swapping between Soarin’ Around the World and Soarin’ Over California. Now, the ride is changing again! Let’s take a look.

It’s official: Soarin’ Over California is BACK at Disneyland Resort. The Disneyland website was updated to reflect the change. Starting NOW, you can see Soarin Over California’s full list of operating hours.

Why the change? You can thank the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival, which began on March 1st and runs through April 22nd. Like we said, this version is like regular Soarin’, but this time, you’ll be gliding above California with by a score by Academy Award-winning composer Jerry Goldsmith.

After you take a ride on Soarin’ Over California, don’t forget to check out the Food and Wine Festival! There are a TON of food booths to enjoy, plus entertainment, festival-exclusive merchandise, characters, and MORE.
