Universal Studios Hollywood has announced the soft opening of the new Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Counter in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Florean Fortescue’s Ice-Cream Counter Now Soft Opening
The news of the soft opening period was shared today on X (formerly Twitter) by the official Universal Studios Hollywood account.
The Ice-Cream Counter will be soft opening inside Honeydukes in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. During this period, soft-serve ice cream may be periodically unavailable. The counter will have its grand opening on March 29, 2024, as previously announced.

The location at Universal Studios Hollywood will differ from its Universal Studios Florida counterpart in that it won’t be its own freestanding location, and it will only serve soft-serve ice cream. The Florean Fortescue’s location in Florida also serves hard-pack ice cream.
The soft-serve flavors that will be available in Hollywood are Butterbeer, banana, chocolate, mint, orange, vanilla, toffee nut, Granny Smith apple, pistachio, and toffee apple. All flavors can be served in a cup or waffle cone.
Both Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort have kicked off a new Butterbeer Season celebration, which began on March 15 and runs through April 30.
