Cast Members are always going above and beyond to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on our day. They’re always so sweet in sharing their personal stories. That’s why we are always telling you to use that Cast Compliment feature on the My Disney Experience app because we want to give back to them after they’ve given so much to us. Well, one Cast Member has received so much feedback from you that he’s been recognized by Disney!
If you’ve ever visited Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you may have met Willie, one of the PhotoPass photographers at the park. Well, Disney just recognized Willie as the most complimented Cast Member in Disney World for two years in a row! If you’ve met Willie, you’ll know why. However, if you watch the video, you’ll see why we all love him so much!

We could learn so much from Willie. As he says, “I won’t let nobody take away my smile.” Congratulations, Willie, you’ve deserved every single Cast Compliment you’ve been given!
PhotoPass Cast Members
If you’d like to recognize a special Disney Cast Member (again, we highly recommend you do this as often as you can), you can do so by sharing a compliment with the hashtag #CastCompliment on social media or by visiting Guest Services in whichever park the Cast Member works. You can also recognize a Cast Member through the My Disney Experience app.
To do that, open the app and click on the three bars in the bottom right corner. Scroll until you see Cast Compliment. Tap on that, and you’ll be taken to Mobile Cast Compliment, where you can give a compliment to a specific Cast Member by entering their first name, hometown (or college), and date of interaction. The more information you can provide about the Cast Membes, the better Disney can identify them!
