March 10th Is an Important Day for Magic Kingdom Fireworks Fans!

You have to pay CLOSE attention to those Disney World park hours and showtimes — they can be SNEAKY! One moment, you might see that Magic Kingdom is closing at 10PM — but then, the next day, that closing time may change to 11PM! (Trust us — it’s happened to our reporters dozens of times!)

Happily Ever After

Even Disney’s nightly fireworks shows can change from one day to the next — that’s why you have to keep a close eye on the My Disney Experience app! Luckily, we watch for changes like a hawk, so come with us to see the important fireworks CHANGE happening in Magic Kingdom this March.

Disney’s beloved Happily Ever After show will soon begin at a different time. This is super important to keep in mind, as fireworks viewing in and around Cinderella Castle fills up quickly, and you need to make sure you’ve got a good spot before it’s too late.

We LOVE Happily Ever After!

Currently, and up until March 9th, Happily Ever After will start promptly at 8PM. You can check the showtimes right on the My Disney Experience app or on the Disney World website.

But then, on March 10th, Happily Ever After will start at 8:30PM. Don’t let this change catch you off guard!

Oh, and we’ve got ANOTHER change for ya. On March 31st, the show will begin at 8:45PM. See what we mean? Those times can change a LOT from the beginning of the month to the end of the month. Currently, it looks like Happily Ever After will continue to run at 8:45PM through April 20th.

At this time, Disney is only showing operating hours through early May. But from April 21st through May 2nd, Happily Ever After will begin at 9PM.

If you’re headed to Magic Kingdom this spring, make sure you know exactly what time the show will begin! The show can start anywhere from 8PM to 9PM, and we typically recommend scoping out a fireworks spot about an hour before the show (if you want to see the fireworks anywhere on Main Street, U.S.A., anyway).

Here’s a peek at the crowds around 8PM

Not in the mood to deal with all those fireworks crowds? We’ve got a solution! You can visit places like Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort or Disney’s Contemporary Resort to score a unique view of the show. In fact, over at the California Grill restaurant, you get access to an exclusive fireworks viewing location!
