Olaf Voice Actor Josh Gad Supports Disney CEO Bob Iger in Board Proxy Fights

Gad shared a photo of Iger and wrote:

What this man has done and continues to do for the Disney Company is unprecedented since the days of Walt himself dreamed the impossible into life. I am fortunate to have seen some of the plans Bob Iger and his incredible team have in store for the future and that future could not be in better hands. Fellow shareholders, join me in supporting Bob and his entire @disney team by voting for them today. Don’t leave magic to people who only understand it as dollars and cents.

Gad was named a Disney Legend at the 2022 ceremony, alongside fellow “Frozen” cast members Jonathan Groff, Kristen Bell, and Idina Menzel.

Trian’s CEO Nelson Peltz has nominated himself and former Disney CFO Jay Rasulo to the Disney Board of Directors. Disney adamantly opposes them. Blackwells Capital has also nominated three executives that Disney does not support. Disney has nominated their own current 12 board members.

Iger and the current Disney Board have received support from former Imagineer Bob Weis, George Lucas, proxy advisory firm Glass Lewis, the JPMorgan Chase CEO, the Disney family, and more.

Shareholder votes will be tallied and results announced during the company’s annual meeting on April 3.
