Disneyland Resort has a new glow-in-the-dark Loungefly mouse ear headband inspired by the Three Caballeros and the Mexico Pavilion of EPCOT.
We found the ears at The Mad Hatter on Main Street, U.S.A.
Three Caballeros Ear Headband – $44.99
The ears and headband are covered in black pleather. The inside of the headband is lined in black velour.
The bow in the center features several stripes in a gradient of purple, yellow, orange, red, and green. A red guitar charm is in the center.
The Three Caballeros — Donald Duck, Panchito Pistoles, and Jose Carioca — are pictured on the front of the right ear. They’re riding a flying carpet, as seen in “The Three Caballeros” and the Mexico Pavilion’s Gran Fiesta Tour ride. White music notes and stars are around the trio.
The front of the other ear features yellow, red, green, and white fireworks. Music notes and stars also surround them. At the end of Gran Fiesta Tour at EPCOT, “fireworks” light up the ceiling above riders in the final scene.
A metal plaque attached to one side of the headband features the Disney and Loungefly wordmarks. The plaque is black with silver lettering.
“Mexico” is printed on the other side of the headband in green, white, and red — the colors of the country’s flag.
The bow has a snap on the back making it removable.
“¡Saludos Amigos!” is in white lettering on the back of the left ear. “Saludos Amigos” was the name of the Disney film that came before “The Three Caballeros” and introduced Jose. It translates to “Greetings friends.”
Fireworks, music notes, and stars are also around the phrase.
A blue version of the Mexico Pavilion temple inspired by the real-life Temple of the Feathered Serpent in Teotihuacan is on the back of the right ear. Above it is a yellow crescent moon and more white music notes. The pink bird with a striped shirt flying next to the temple is the Aracuan Bird from “The Three Caballeros.”
The stars, music notes, fireworks, moon, and words glow in the dark.
