The sign for the upcoming new Downtown Disney restaurant, Paseo, has been installed.
Things are getting more official for the new Downtown Disney District dining location, Paseo and Céntrico, as a Paseo sign has gone up. It replaces the signage for Catal, the restaurant that formally took the space.
The dining location will be split into two areas: The upstairs Paseo dining room and the first-floor Céntrico. The menu will feature upscale Mexican cuisine by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán. According to the Paseo website, the location will be opening in spring 2024.
The newly added signage is nearly an exact match to the concept art for the restaurant that was shared earlier this year.
For reference, here’s a look at the Canal sign while it was still up during the construction of Paseo. It’s quite a bit larger than the new Paseo sign.

Disney plans to add more than 90 new buses throughout the year with new exterior graphics and accessibility features.
A new cosplay Loungefly mini backpack inspired by Carl from “Up” is available at Walt Disney World Resort.
We found the Loungefly at Creations Shop in EPCOT.
The Loungefly depicts Carl in his tweed jacket, bowtie, and grape soda badge. He’s also wearing a pilot’s cap and goggles. The small front pocket resembles the wheel of Charles Muntz’s airship.
Russell is pictured on one side of the bag. He wears his Wilderness Explorer uniform, plus a pilot’s hat and goggles. The backpack is mostly weathered brown with brighter brown lining.
Dug is on the other side of the backpack. He’s wearing his brown translation collar.
The interior lining has a sepia-tone pattern featuring Carl’s flying house among clouds.
The gray silhouette of Muntz’s airship is on the back with white clouds around it. “Spirit of Adventure,” the name of the ship, is in cursive on the silhouette.

Disneyland Resort Magic Key holders will be the first with access to the new Star Wars Artist Series: Will Gay Collection.
The pre-sale will begin on April 3, 2024. A limited quantity of pre-sale merchandise will be available to buy and pick up on the same day through the Disneyland app mobile order service. The merchandise will be at Star Wars Trading Post in Downtown Disney District.
The collection includes a Darth Vader sling bag, an Ewok hoodie, and a bucket hat.
Disneyland Resort is celebrating “Star Wars” during Season of the Force in April and May. The celebration will include a Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge nighttime show, the previously-announced Star Tours updates, Hyperspace Mountain, and more. Jabba the Hutt and Stormtrooper Helmet popcorn buckets were also announced for the event.
