In a video shared to X by user DrewDisneyDude, logs careen down the drop as “Down in New Orleans,” a song from “The Princess and the Frog” animated film, plays on a loop.

The loop appears to only play the first half of the song before repeating. You can watch and listen in the video below:

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is scheduled to open this summer at Magic Kingdom, and later this year at Disneyland Park. Earlier today, some construction walls came down around the Frontierland train station near the ride’s queue. Disney Imagineers have also been spotted taking test rides, and three testing signs have been installed at the lagoon portion of the flume.

What do you think of the ride audio testing outside at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure? Are you a fan of the film’s animated soundtrack? Let us know in the comments.

Limited-Time Monster Makeover Experience Ends Early at Universal Studios Florida

It appears that the Monster Makeover experience at Universal Studios Florida has shuttered early, as the entrance has been marked as “Team Members Only.”

Monster Makeover Experience Closed Early

A wide shot of the former entrance to Monster Makeover at Universal Studios Florida

The Monster Makeover at Universal Studios Florida was located in the Five and Dime in the Hollywood section of the park. The gift shop is the exit for Universal Orlando’s Horror Make-Up Show and The Bourne Stuntacular.

The door to the room in which guests would get their makeovers is now closed, and marked with a “Team Members Only” sign. The marquee sign for Monster Makeover has also been removed.

Above is a look at what the experience’s entrance looked like with its marquee and before the door was painted red.

While Monster Makeover was open, guests could choose from 37 monster-inspired styles and eventually eight additional Mardi Gras designs. Prices were just $25 for the Mardi Gras makeup, followed by $65 for a half-face and $125 for a full-face monster design.

Our intrepid reporter Annie getting her own Monster Makeover when the experience first opened.

We reviewed the experience shortly after it opened, which you can read or watch our video below:

The experience was previously slated to close on April 7, 2024, and was described as a “limited experience.” When attempting to use the online booking link, the webpage returns with an error message. Universal has not announced a reason for the closure.

Did you have a chance to try the Monster Makeover experience before it closed? Did you think it was worth the cost? Let us know in the comments.

PHOTOS: New Doors and Colorful Brackets Added to CommuniCore Hall in EPCOT

Construction on CommuniCore Hall has undergone some major updates, with new colorful brackets and automatic doors added to the building.

CommuniCore Hall Construction Update

A wide shot of one side of the exterior of CommuniCore Hall.

Starting off, additional black panels have been added on this side of CommuniCore Hall with the Spaceship Earth-inspired walls. During our previous visit, scaffolding was up on the left side, and not all of the black panels were in place. Now, it appears the black paneling on this side is complete. Behind the wall, you can see a bit of the CommuniCore Hall mural.

A view of one side of CommuniCore Hall, featuring the colored brackets in rainbow order.

The portion of the building with flat triangular panels has gotten a big update, with colorful L-shaped brackets added, and smaller, slightly translucent, triangles installed on the panels of the wall that previously had holes in it. This is all likely for a lighting effect that will be in place once CommuniCore Hall and Plaza open on June 10.

Another view of the side of CommuniCore Hall with the newly installed color brackets, from the opposite end.

Upon closer inspection, you can see that the newly added brackets are positioned to create a gradient effect. We suspect translucent triangular panels in the same color as the brackets could be installed over time.

On the far right of this concept art, you can get a preview of what this side of the building will look like once complete.

Here is a view of both the CommuniCore Hall building and part of CommuniCore Plaza.

CommuniCore Hall newly-installed glass sliding doors

While riding on the Walt Disney World Monorail near the Imagination! Pavilion, we could get a clear view of two automatic sliding glass doors that have recently been installed. Plenty of crew members were on site during our visit.
