Your GUIDE to the Best Seating for the BIGGEST Presentations at the 2024 D23 Expo

The 2024 D23 Expo has changed its name to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, and we’ve been learning more about this year’s event, which will be, dare we say…ULTIMATE?

©Disney

This event is the biggest Disney fan event of the year and will include special exhibits, exclusive merchandise, presentations, and more. However, this year’s event is expanding to include a NEW venue for the evening panels, the Honda Center (otherwise known as the home of the Anaheim Ducks). If you’re buying tickets to The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, you might want to know where the good seats are.

When you buy your ticket, you’ll be able to select your seats for the presentations at the Honda Center. So the first thing we’re going to show you is the seating chart at the venue. As you can see, the absolute best seats are those in the 101-106 sections — right up front and center stage.

©Honda Center

However, it’s likely those seats are probably going to go the fastest, so you’ll next want to try for those seats in the 205-225 sections, 304-323 sections, or the 408-437 sections. Now the 400 section might be the nosebleed seats, but at least they have a good, straight-on view of the stage. Granted, we imagine there will be giant video screens showing everything on the stage, and depending on how accessible those are, you may have a good view of the screens no matter where you sit.

©Honda Center

If you want to get those good seats, though, you’ll want to be a D23 Gold member so you can get first access to tickets starting on March 26th, 2024, at 12PM PST. These tickets are limited and exclusive to Gold Members, so if you can’t grab them then, you can try again on March 27th at 12PM PST (note that Disney Visa cardholders will also be able to get tickets on March 27th). Tickets go on sale to the general public on March 28th.

D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event

Tickets for those wanting Honda Center access are as follows:

  • The D23 Ultimate Fan Pass 3-Day Ticket: a 3-day assigned seat for evening shows at the Honda Center and 3-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center—starting at $297/ticket
  • The D23 Ultimate Fan Pass 1-Day Ticket: a reserved seat for that date’s evening show at the Honda Center and same-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center—starting at $99/ticket
  • The D23 Preferred Ultimate Fan Pass 3-Day Ticket (exclusive to D23 Gold Members): a 3-day floor seat for evening shows at the Honda Center, and 3-day access to all experiences at the Anaheim Convention Center—starting at $999/ticket.

©D23

Tickets are also available for just the events at the Anaheim Convention Center, which include an immersive show floor. Pricing for the show floor is:

  • 1-Day Pass
    • Gold Members: $79/ticket
    • General Members: $89/ticket
  • 3-Day Pass
    • Gold Members: $209/ticket
    • General Members: $259/ticket

©D23

D23: The Ultimate Fan Event will take place from August 9th through the 11th. There are several events at multiple venues including the Honda Center, Anaheim Convention Center, Disneyland Resort, and Anger Stadium. Check out the link below for everything you need to know!

WATCH PARKSCENTER — EPCOT Announcements, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Testing, and More Disney Guests Gone Bad

Join us live tonight, Sunday, March 24th, at 9:00 p.m. ET, or watch ParksCenter anytime on WDWNT.TV.

We are updating you on all of the big things happening in the Disney Parks each week! We cover the top stories in Disney Parks news and discuss the topics that are top of mind for the Disney community. All in 60 minutes! Join us live and chat along at 9 p.m. ET.

After testing the ride with water dummies, Imagineers were the first to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom this past Friday.

This week, we have much to discuss! Disney has finally announced an opening last piece of the EPCOT reimagining. Communicore Hall will open this June, and there will also be an Encanto Sing-Along as part of its debut. This timing works well with a National Geographic special airing in April called “EPCOT Becoming.” Will they mention the delays, The downfall of Harmonious, or the canceled projects like Mary Poppins?

Also, it was released that Disney Springs will have a Summer drone show, “Disney Dreams That Soar.” While Disneyland Paris has enjoyed some amazing drone experiences, and Universal has been testing some for a new show, there haven’t been too many for Disney domestic parks. We’ll talk about why.

Over at Magic Kingdom, Imagineers were spotted ride-testing at Tian’s Bayou Adventure. With all the other Summer announcements about Disney World, why was the opening of this attraction left out? Are we still too far away from an opening date?

And, there were many returning offerings and effects across both Disney World and Disneyland in the past few weeks. The Barrel Bridge returned to Tom Sawyer Island, Donald’s Duck Pond returned to Toontown in California, Wonderous Journeys show is back at Disneyland, and many other small things have been fixed or returned to the parks. Is this a new initiative or are they just getting ready for a busy Summer season? Either way – we love to see it!

Finally, we will have our favorite segment, “It Came from the Parks,” where we talked about all the wild stories coming from WDWNT.com in the past week from the parks when guests do some strange and sometimes horrific things. Each member of the panel will pick one of the stories and discuss it!

Join us for all of this tonight on ParksCenter!

Watch PARKSCENTER Live at 9:00 P.M.

Also, our WIGS members receive an interactive post-show each week, exclusive to our Patreon program.

Check out a recent episode of the show below.

ParksCenter is broadcast live on YouTube every Sunday, now at 9:00 p.m. ET.

The biggest change is the new seats. The old seats were showing signs of disrepair for a while. In June 2023, we noted that many were damaged and dirty.
