Signs featuring vintage-style artwork have returned to the Thimbles & Threads store façade on Disney’s BoardWalk.
Thimbles & Threads Signs
Thimbles & Threads is next to Screen Door General Store. The decorative signs were removed from the store during construction work late last year.
Four retro signs hang above the store’s windows and doors. They all use bright shades of blue and yellow. The fashion depicted is straight out of the 1920s.
The first depicts a woman wearing a large sunhat.
The next sign shows a trio of men wearing different-colored suits.
The third sign depicts a woman in a black swimsuit and floral swim cap diving into the water.
And the last sign shows a man and woman dancing. He’s wearing a blue suit. She’s wearing a yellow dress with a feathered headband and pearls.
Disney’s BoardWalk has been undergoing a years-long refurbishment and reimagining. Recently, crews refurbished the Friendship boat dock. The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers and Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs are both under construction and set to open this year.
