Ravensburger has released information about the fourth Disney Lorcana trading card game set, titled “Ursula’s Return.”
Disney Lorcana ‘Ursula’s Return’
Ursula’s Return will hit hobby stores and Disney Parks on May 17, 2024, before becoming available on mass retailers and DisneyStore.com on May 31.
The set introduces the Family Madrigal to the world of Lorcana in the starter deck, including Mirabel, Bruno, Dolores, Luisa, Félix, and Julieta from “Encanto.”
Additional cards include Mickey Mouse (Playful Sorcerer) and Mulan (Elite Archer).
The set will give fans a new way to play with a cooperative game that allows one to two players to participate. The set, called “Illumineer’s Quest,” is a first-of-its-kind experience that’ll set players up against Ursula as her powers increase throughout the battle.
A trailer for the forthcoming game was also released. Watch it in full below:
Complete rules for the game should be out this week, with a judge test to come soon after.
New Regional Events Announced
Additionally, Ravensburger announced brand-new regional events that will bring together Illumineers from around the world. The Disney Lorcana Challenge will be a competitive event circuit for Disney Lorcana TCG. Those competing will have the chance to win exclusive prizes, like the extended art versions of the Dragon Fire promo card.
The challenge begins with events on May 25-26 in Atlanta, Georgia, and Lille, France, before moving to Chicago, Illinois on June 8-9, and Bochum, Germany on July 6-7. Four more dates for North America and two for Europe will be announced in the coming weeks.
