REVIEW: Princess of Alderaan Shake Is a Salty and Sweet Treat at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

As part of Walt Disney World’s celebration of Women’s History Month this year, a new Princess Leia-themed treat, the Princess of Alderaan Shake, is now available at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

The treat is available for purchase from Dockside Diner, located on Echo Lake.

We’re not sure whose idea it was to put a cinnamon roll and a milkshake together, but we’re glad they did it because this is delicious.

The cinnamon rolls that serve as Leia’s hair buns come from the recently opened Ice Cold Hydraulics on Grand Avenue.

The milkshake itself is great, though more on the solid and heavy side as far as texture. The thickness is close to ice cream, but it’s still drinkable.

Our reporter who reviewed this treat isn’t a fan of salted caramel but finished the entire treat because the saltiness of the caramel balanced out the sweetness of the cinnamon rolls.

This treat is a great combination of the salty and sweet flavor profiles, and we’d recommend getting it to share with the Star Wars fans in your party.
