There’s one construction project at Disney World that we just can’t wait for!

As you know, the new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) Cabins are coming to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and will officially open on July 1st! That’s not much time! In the meantime, we’ve been acquainted with all the fun details that Disney has been working on. There’s one particular detail that you have to know about!
We can see from some concept photos Disney released of the new Cabins at Fort Wilderness that there will be bunk beds!

The new bunk beds, though, have canoe oars on them in colors inspired by Mickey Mouse and his friends. Each bed also has its own Chip ‘n’ Dale mural, and the ladder is on the outside of the bed, rather than in the middle, which might help the bottom bunk feel bigger. There are also storage drawers under each bunk bed.

I hear you asking, “Bunk beds are cool and all, but what’s so special about them?” Well, as you know, when you’re at Disney World, you burn through a TON of power on your devices. So when you return to your cabin at night to refresh and recharge yourself, what do you do about your device? This leads us to the detail we mentioned earlier. See if you can spot what we’re talking about:

Did you find it? No worries if you didn’t. If you’re sleeping on one of the bunk beds and you need power, you’re in luck because they have a device charging plug hidden in a lantern within the bunk bed’s wall mural! Take a look:
