A Zazu shoulder plush has arrived at Disneyland Resort in honor of the 30th anniversary of “The Lion King” this year.
We spotted Zazu at the Newsstand near the Disneyland Park entrance, as well as in the Emporium.
Zazu Shoulder Plush – $24.99
Zazu is a blue and white hornbill. He has an orange and yellow beak and orange talons. In “The Lion King,” he’s voiced by Rowan Atkinson. In other media, he’s been voiced by Jim Piddock, Edward Hibbert, Jeff Bennett, and John Oliver.
Zazu works for Mufasa, King of the Pride Lands, but is often relegated to looking after Prince Simba.
The shoulder plush has a magnet inside and a separate magnetic piece that goes under your shirt. Then the plush appears to sit on your shoulder.
The plush is the first piece of merchandise officially honoring the film’s 30th anniversary. “The Lion King” was released in theaters on June 15, 1994.
The Zazu shoulder plush is also available at Walt Disney World.
