We hope you’re hungry because the 2024 EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival will be here before you know it!

This year’s EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival presented by CORKCICLE is coming up and, although the dates have yet to be announced, we’re preparing for the return of some popular booths and souvenirs as well as a few changes from last year’s festival. Regarding the returning booths, we’d be lying if we didn’t say there were several items we hope make it to the 2024 festival!

Going over the list of some of our FAVORITE items from the 2023 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, we came across 10 snacks and drinks we would LOVE to see return this year! Let’s check them out!

Tostada de Carnitas at Mexico

The Tostada de Carnitas was new in 2023 and DID NOT DISAPPOINT. This Mexico Pavilion snack is made with braised pork on a fried corn tortilla with black beans, avocado mousse, queso fresco, and chives.

We think the corn tortilla was perfectly crispy, durable, and deliciously crunchy. The creaminess of the black beans and avocado mousse provided a tasty juxtaposition. The pork was fatty and tender while the queso fesco tied everything together. No complaints — this tostada was a winner, and we hope it returns!

Dark Chocolate Fondue at The Alps

DARK. CHOCOLATE. FONDUE. We had high hopes for this Dark Chocolate Fondue at The Alps and it’s safe to say it met our expectations. Also new in 2023, this dessert is dark chocolote fondue with berries, pound cake, and meringues.

This fondue was a MUST-TRY, in our opinion, and we’re begging for its return.  The chocolate had a good balance of sweetness and paired so well with all of the dippable treats. We’re craving this treat just thinking about it!

Crispy Duck Bao Bun at China

Over at the China booth last year, we were absolutely won over by the Crispy Duck Bao Bun! New in 2023, the Crispy Duck Bao Bun includes hoisin is served with hoisin sauce.

We thought the bao bun was pillowy and sweet while the duck was soft in the best ways. The duck’s saltiness combined with the sweet sauce and green onions made for a really great dish — one we hope to try again in 2024!

Florida Orange Groves Winery Sparkling Peach Wine at Refreshment Port

The last new item from 2023 to make our list is the Florida Orange Groves Winery Sparkling Peach Wine at Refreshment Port. Although it wasn’t part of a booth, this Peach Wine was still part of our Best of the Fest last year.

This wine was sweet, light, floral, and incredibly refreshing. It featured just enough acidity and bitterness to balance out the sweetness and could easily become one of our go-to drinks if it becomes a Food and Wine Festival staple.

Adobo Yuca Fries at The Fry Basket

Assuming these make another return in 2024, the Adobo Yuca Fries with Garlic-CilantroAïoli at The Fry Basket are an absolute MUST-TRY snack! Perfectly crunchy and akin to the French fry version of Texas toast, these bad boys offered the perfect tangy flavor.

The BEST item of this booth, these fries nailed the aïoli with a light cilantro and the breading was phenominal. If you like garlic fries, we think you’ll love these! Our fingers are crossed for their return!

Freshly Baked Carrot Cake at Flavors of America

Flavors of America was a new booth last year but it offered the returning Freshly Baked Carrot Cake. In the past, this cake was featured at the Hops and Barley booth, but as long as it returns again, we don’t care where we get it as long as we can get it!

The cake came with a sticky cream cheese icing and tasted more like a nutty spice cake than a carrot cake. Wonderfully dense, aptly moist, and featuring a nice tang, this cake screamed autumn, and we’d love to see it come back this year!

Warm Chocolate Pudding Cake at Ireland

We’re definitely hoping the Ireland treats us to the Warm Chocolate Pudding Cake once again! Served with Irish cream liqueur custard, this cake is cheap and insanely delicious.

Last year, our cake was decadent, rich, moist, and, of course,  DELICIOUSLY chocolatey. The alcohol was subtle, yet present, and the custard was very creamy. If this returns again in 2024, we’re buying several without question.

Teriyaki Chicken Bun at Japan

Disney does bao well frequently and the Teriyaki Chicken Bun at the Japan booth was no exception. This dish was a returnee in 2023 and continued to impress us. Made with a steamed bun filled with chicken, vegetables, and teriyaki sauce, this treat was ideal for kids and adults alike.

In our 2023 review, we said it was “60% bao, 40% filling, and 100% delicious.” Meaty, sweet, and surprisingly affordable, we’re down for seconds, thirds, or maybe even more if it returns in 2024!

Mimosa Flight at Shimmering Sips Hosted by CORKCICLE

Dear Shimmering Sips, we humbly ask you to offer the Mimosa Flight once again in 2024. One of the most popular drink options at last year’s festival, this flight let us sample a little bit of everything. The mimosas we tried included the Tropical Mimosa (sparkling wine and Minute Maid Passion Fruit, orange, and guava juices), the Berry Mimosa (berry fizz sparkling wine and white cranberry juice), and the Blood Orange Mimosa (sparkling wine and blood orange juice).

The Berry Mimosa tasted like an elevated cranberry and grape juice combination while the Blood Orange Mimosa nailed the blood orange flavor, albeit with a little bit of pulp. The Tropical Mimosa was our favorite as it was fruity, tangy, sweet, and likely something everyone would love. We’d be very happy to see this flight back on the menu in 2024!

Frozen Roseberry at Joffrey’s Coffee Near Canada

Finally, we are without a doubt hoping Joffrey’s Coffee’s Frozen Roseberry near Canada comes back this year! The Frozen Roseberry drink is a blend of frozen lemon and strawberry-rose syrup and we think it BELONGS in the 2024 Food and Wine Festival roster.

My oh my was this drink incredible! Sweet, yet perfectly tart while being wonderfully refreshing, this drink got two thumbs up from us. Admittedly, we got a little more strawberry than rose flavor, but there was enough of that slightly floral taste which made up for it. This drink came in an alcoholic and non-alcoholic form and we hope both make a return in 2024!
