Tiana’s Bayou Adventure has been updated with a crop of new additions to the queue and attraction.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Update
Starting off with the Tiana’s Foods main entrance, the windows have gotten new green shutters. They have a warn effect that matches the rest of the repurposed barn.
To the left of the barn, it appears as though the staircase there is complete. More light fixtures have also been installed on the left side of the building.
With a few less construction supplies in the area compared to our last visit, you can get a better look at the Tiana’s Foods boxes piled in the queue area.
Moving further right, work continues on a portion of Tiana’s garden in the back queue. Recently, a dark brown pole has been installed at the center of that garden, with scaffolding surrounding it. On the right side of the image, you can also get a look at the black themed speakers that have been installed on a wooden pole in the queue. Those speakers are slowly being installed throughout this queue area.
In this closer look you can see some of the greens being grown by Tiana, fitting with the Tiana’s Foods theming of the attraction.
Two new posts have also been installed in the queue. The first one features signs pointing to the “Farmers Market,” Break Room,” and handicap accessibility. The second post is a height stick to measure the height of little ones before they enter the queue. Guests must be 40 inches or taller to ride the attraction.
In the back, near the restrooms, is a new sign for hot sauces. As part of the backstory of the attraction, Tiana and her Tiana’s Foods colleagues have created their own original line of hot sauces, which is likely what we’re seeing here.
Finally, in the flume area, just under the foot bridge, a Lari the armadillo figure has been uncovered.
Lari is an original character to the attraction, as was revealed earlier this April.
He is one of the non-musical critters of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and has been described as a mischievous but quiet armadillo who always shows up where you least expect him, and tends to borrow things that don’t belong to him.
