As part of Season of the Force at Disneyland Resort, the “Star Wars”-themed Space Mountain overlay, “Hyperspace Mountain,” has returned.
Hyperspace Mountain Returns for Season of the Force
Hyperspace Mountain takes over Space Mountain during Season of the Force from April 5 through June 2 at Disneyland Park. Within that timeframe is also “Star Wars” Day, May the 4th.
The Hyperspace overlay has not changed from previous years. The track and layout of Space Mountain do not change while Hyperspace is running; instead, various visuals and the attraction’s audio are different. Guests will experience John Williams’ “Star Wars” score as they ride through the attraction.
The queue is also altered, with “Star Wars” characters on screens near the entrance and an updated screen in the loading area.
The above photo is a closer look at the Aurebesh and a Star Destroyer displayed in the queue area.
Here’s a small preview of what guests will see while riding through the attraction.
