The Morocco Pavilion Friendship boat dock in EPCOT has reopened after a three-week refurbishment.
Friendship Boat Dock Refurbishment
With the Morocco dock back open, the Germany dock closed again. This launch and the one near the Mexico Pavilion have been closed since the summer of 2016 except when one of the other two docks needs work.
Friendship boats are back to transporting guests directly between the Morocco Pavilion and the Canada Pavilion across the World Showcase lagoon. Weather permitting, the boats depart every 15 minutes between 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.
The Friendship boats are being repainted one by one. The one we saw at EPCOT on Monday has not been refreshed.
The only update during this weeks-long refurbishment was the addition of two more crates on the side of the dock. These help prevent it from sinking.
A Friendship Cast Member we spoke to confirmed the additional crates are the only change.
