A seventh “Smellephants on Parade” elephant statue has been installed in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom.
Citrus Smellephant
This elephant appears to be inspired by orange juice or lemonade. Its head and arms are light blue, while the rest is yellow-orange. Ice cubes and lemon slices are in the yellow-orange section.
This elephant is holding a pair of cymbals. All the elephants stand on yellow bases, which are smellitizers that will emit appropriate scents. The red posts hide lights.
When the “Smellephants on Parade” experience officially begins, guests will pick up a complimentary map and sticker sheet at the Big Top Souvenirs ticket booth. As “Whiff-sistants,” they will search Storybook Circus for the scented statues and place stickers in the correct locations on the map.
“Smellephants on Parade” is presented by Scentsy. The company became the official sponsor of Dumbo the Flying Elephant last year.
The statues are inspired by the “Pink Elephants on Parade” sequence from “Dumbo.” Each is painted to resemble a different food item, including popcorn, churros, cotton candy, corn dogs, snowcones, and caramel apples. One more statue is yet to be installed.
The citrus statue is located near the Casey Jr. Splash ‘N’ Soak Station.
