The talking Dug from “Up” character made his debut at Disney California Adventure on Friday for Pixar Fest 2024. The talking meet-and-greet character was revealed at a media event yesterday.

Guests can meet Dug outside Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. Meet and greet times will be available in the Disneyland app.

Dug can speak English thanks to a special collar he wears. He says lines from “Up” and “Dug Days,” like, “I have just met you and I love you.”

Pixar Fest runs through August 4, 2024. Other rare character meet and greets are available at the Fantasyland Theater in Disneyland. Guests can also see Pixar characters in the “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” parade.
