A new ticket booth has been installed outside Big Top Souvenirs in Storybook Circus at Magic Kingdom for the upcoming Smellephants on Parade experience.
Storybook Circus Ticket Booth
The new ticket booth is in place but still behind rolling planters.
It’s six-sided, like the old ticket booth, but otherwise has a completely new design. The walls are striped pale yellow and white. There’s thin wood paneling between the stripes. A dark blue border runs below the red top of the booth.
Golden detailing is across the top, around a white circle featuring a blue star. “Ticket Booth” is in blue lettering. Light blue awnings jut out from the sides.
There are doors on the sides of the ticket booth, beneath the awnings.
The ticket booth is where guests will pick up the map and stickers for the Smellephants on Parade experience. As new “Whiff-sistants,” they will help Timothy Q. Mouse find and identify different scented elephant statues in Storybook Circus. Three of the eight statues have been installed.
Cast Members will be at the ticket booth to hand out Smellephants on Parade materials.
There’s a window on the front with a built-in speaker. The booth is still relatively small, so we don’t know if Cast Members will be inside or just standing by the booth.
A wrought iron lamp is on the booth above the ticketing window.
For reference, below is what the old Big Top Souvenirs ticket booth looked like.
Rolling planters went up around the booth the second week of April and it was removed the next day.
Disney and Scentsy entered a multi-year partnership in 2021 and announced their Smellephants on Parade experience last year. The scent company also began sponsoring Dumbo the Flying Elephant in Storybook Circus.
An exact start date for Smellephants on Parade has not been announced but we can expect it to begin soon with so many set pieces in place.
