Disneyland Resort has more Three Caballeros merchandise to match the glow-in-the-dark Loungefly ear headband we found previously.
We saw these items at Pioneer Mercantile in Disneyland Park. The Loungefly mini backpack was also at World of Disney in Downtown Disney District.
Three Caballeros Loungefly Backpack – $88
Like the ears, the backpack is made of black pleather. The Three Caballeros — Donald Duck, Panchito Pistoles, and José Carioca — are on the small front pocket. A Mexican temple is on a patch behind them. Fireworks and white music notes are in the sky.
The Disney Parks x Loungefly plaque is black but sits on a colorful striped patch.
Like the ears, these items seem to draw inspiration from the Gran Fiesta Tour ride in the Mexico Pavilion of EPCOT.
The small front pocket and main pocket have goldtone zippers. The side slip pockets have a colorful striped lining.
Both pockets feature fireworks and music notes.
“¡Saludos Amigos!” is in white lettering on one side pocket. “Saludos Amigos” (1942) is the Disney anthology film that introduced José. It translates to “Greetings friends!”
“Saludos Amigos” preceded “The Three Caballeros,” which came out in 1944 and introduced Panchito, rounding out the trio.
The backpack straps are striped purple, yellow, orange, red, and green. The back of the bag is mostly solid black.
It does feature a picture of the Aracuan Bird from “The Three Caballeros.” The bird is pink with red feathers and a striped sweater. “Mexico” is printed below in green, white, and red — the colors of the Mexico flag.
The interior lining is bright blue. It’s patterned with images of each of the Three Caballeros, the Aracuan Bird, fireworks, stars, and music notes.
Cropped T-Shirt – $29.99
This shirt is light blue. The Three Caballeros are pictured playing their guitars atop a flying carpet. “¡Saludos Amigos!” is in white below them. “Mexico” is in green, white, and red in the bottom corner.
The Mexican temple is behind the image of the trio. The Aracuan Bird is in the top right corner. There are shiny fireworks at the top of the design.
T-Shirt – $29.99
This shirt is white.
“¡Viva! Mexico” is on the left breast. “Viva” is in colorful lettering and “Mexico” is black. There’s a simple flower design behind the words.
“¡Saludos Amigos!” is on the back with images of flowers, maracas, a palm frond, streamers, and stars. The Three Caballeros are pictured on their flying carpet.
Hoodie – $59.99
The pullover hoodie is mainly tan. It has black, brown, and orange stripes in varying sizes. It has a large front pocket and a v-shaped neck.
The faces of the Three Caballeros are embroidered on the left breast.
They are each wearing sombreros.
Throw Blanket – $44.99
This throw blanket is dark blue and comes wrapped in a green ribbon. The Three Caballeros are pictured on their flying carpet, with fireworks going off behind them.
“¡Saludos Amigos!” is in large white letters. The Aracuan Bird is also pictured. There are white tassels on the short ends of the blanket.
It’s 50 inches by 60 inches, or 127 centimeters by 152 centimeters.
