Welcome to Skull Island: Reign of Kid. A guest visiting Universal Islands of Adventure at Universal Orlando Resort was spotted climbing to the top of the Skull Island: Reign of Kong attraction sign to pose for a photo. The entrance to the ride makes a great photo op, but one family took it to the extreme.
Guest Climbs Skull Island: Reign of Kong Sign
A young guest was spotted climbing all the way to the top of the Skull Island: Reign of Kong sign to pose for a photo, being taken by family down below. The entrance to the attraction is surrounded by large, jagged rocks that are covered in torches and skulls, and is not designed to be climbed.
In the video, the family of the guest appears to be encouraging the behavior as he climbs to the top of the sign. You can watch the video of the incident below.
The video above also stirred up reactions from fellow theme park fans who have been giving their takes on the guest and their family’s actions.
This isn’t the only time that a guest has gone to great lengths to capture a photo at Universal Orlando Resort. On St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 2024, a guest dressed like the Once-ler from the animated film “The Lorax” crashed the Universal Studios Florida Mardi Gras parade.
